Don't believe the hype.
People tend to bring up that table of us failing to win the league twice despite topping the league on Christmas.
What you have to take into consideration is that the first time around it was a four horse race with Man U having two games in hand while we lead the league by one point over Chelsea.

The second time around we were ahead on goal difference. Then we played two difficult away games.

Citeh are NOT "massive" favourites at all. Someone from Coral was just saying on the radio that, while Citeh are still a shade of odds-on at 4/5, we've now come in from 5/2 to 11/10 against. It's a real close race and the bookies know it.
City 1.9
Liverpool 2.1

Nothing in it. I loved those last 38 games stats someone posted - only 3 points between us over the past 38 games and we are the ones on the rise.

Yep.

United went away for the World Club Cup and had games in hand.

And the 2nd time, we had to play Chelsea away and City away within days, while we were only ahead on GD.

Couple of days? I hated football for 2 years after

Weve pulled back a 4point deficit and a 13 goal difference.

Thats fucking incredible considering who we are up against.

Fernandinho is without doubt the key to them winning. They are bang average without him.

Even with KDB (Patrick you quimlord)
When is he back?

We really need to brace ourselves for remaining unbeaten til after the city game..

If we come out of the city game with a 6pt or plus advantage on spurs and city having played two or the top 4/5 sides twice already ...then , well , shit might just get interesting.

On a side note, man city were fucking atrocious today , like shockingly bad , it was kind of nice to see , balances out the fact that spurs look brutal at the moment

I'm not sure

I mean, yes, my nethers is going again, but I think that's residue from the Newcastle tremors

Ask me again tomorrow, but so far the trembles are going to my coccyx

Arsenal will win - this time it's your mustache hair tingling ... the more you tingle, the more Liverpool jingle ... keep it up Mr. Good Luck Charm!

and Sterling got called offside incorrectly which I always hold as the real reason we lost the title...

I'll say it quietly, but if, IF, we can keep Alisson, VVD and Salah fit then we'll win the league.
