What's the most points a team has led the league by and not won it? People talk about our "collapse" in 13/14, but we went on an outrageous run to even be in with a shout, and we were never this far ahead, were we? In 08/09, United always had games in hand.

I remember the year City won it on goal difference, they closed a big gap on United. 8 points was it? Were Newcastle 12 points ahead of United before that infamous collapse?

What I'm trying to say is that this is going to be the biggest collapse by a frontrunner ever.

Utd had a game in hand so it was only 9.

Klopp has to manage the team carefully. We're not a rich enough club to sacrifice the CL, but the FA Cup can surely be done away with this year. By that I mean give Mignolet, Moreno, Clyne, Woodburn a go.

Injuries/fatigue are the main threat to a title win. No point risking any one important in a domestic cup competition. The league's just too important.

Fuck off you jinxy mother FUCKERS.

Fuck off fuck off fuck off..

I've been let down too many times to even start contemplating what it'll mean if we win on Thursday.
Knowing the way we do, it will mean Pep gets sacked.

If you lot don't stop this jinxy bollocks right about fucking now, this chicken will have to die in a bloody ritual sacrifice. His name is Brian. Let that hang on your consciousness.

Theres a massive difference between arrogance/overconfidence and just being confident.

This season Klopp has got us playing with so much confidence and there's nothing cocky about it at all either. Nor is there any of that 'we've got this' anxiety too. There's a joie de vivre on and off the pitch. I'm a believer that a team reflects the leader. Relationships trump talent all the time and Klopp has gotten everyone to play as a team. Off-pitch as well.

This for me is the biggest reason for me to believe that it's coming home (finally) this season.

Let's go get 19th ! And to hell with all that jinxy belief shite. DB can cash out all he wants to and it won't change a thing.

It reminds me a lot of Dortmund in their first league title run from his doco

Yes, and that's no accident. Klopp instinctively knows the vital importance of getting everyone connected with the club pulling together in the same direction. The first thing I remember him saying when he arrived was that he felt he had to "turn everyone from doubters to believers" and he's kept his word. 😎

B Silva celebrating with Aguero looked like that to me.

They'd just taken the lead within 15 odd minutes, it wasn't celebrate with the fans (though fair enough they were away) or joyful jovial dancing and prancing around it was screaming high 5s like some kind of pressure had reduced.

We've opened up this gap over the course of a month, it can easily flip in another month, let alone the next four months.

I don't think I'll be confident unless we're this far ahead in another 6 or so games, and we don't have any more major injuries.
