We're still a very good CB short.

I’ve started to think that the problem isn’t so much the defenders (although better ones should concede fewer all things considered) but the way we play which exposes our defense too frequently. Even if we improve because of better personnel I’m not sure the way we play keeps us tight enough at the back for us to get close to a league winning points total.

I'm expecting a title challenge (ultimately within 6-8 points of the winners if not winning it ourselves) and to go well in the Champions league (at least last 8).

CM/Am - Can, Coutinho and Ox out, Keita Fabiano and Shakiri in. Hopefully and improvement in the first 11 but over all the depth hasn't seen much if any.

Please note I am retracting my earlier statement where i said we will everything as that was based on personal assumption that we would sign another quality AM. I think it will be the same as last season but we may win a cup this time and thats it. Sign another AM and I will stick to my earlier post where I said we win everything. Our squad is hugely improved from this time last season. We don’t have a nervous wreck in goal anymore. Full backs are better with Clyne being back and Robertson keeping Moreno out. We have VVD for a whole season now and don’t shit ourselves when the opposition cross the half way line.
We have about 7 players trying to get into our midfield 3. Even some of those can help rotating the 3 up top.
We’re going to do well. We don’t need to score more or even as many provided we don’t ship stupid goals. We’ve addressed that problem.
