He can perhaps become a better player I'm not going to argue otherwise as I've never seen him play and it seems people who has rates him a lot.

However to state that he's a better player than a player of Poulsens caliber at this day and age is really, really daft.

One has played 42 games for Charlton in the Championship/League One whereas the other has played almost 300 games for the likes of Schalke, Sevilla and Juve. Add to that around 75 International games too including several World Cups and European Championships.

I've never seen Poulsen play for either Juve, Sevilla or Denmark. I've seen him play twice for Liverpool and I've seen Shelvey play twice too. Shelvey was excellent. Poulsen was very close to 'fucking terrible. That's all I'm stating.

Also, nothing I've heard about Poulsen from his Juve days makes me want to believe any different. Everything I've heard about Shelvey makes me believe that he's going to be a top player. So forgive me for wanting to play him ahead of Poulsen.

It's actually rather awful isn't it? It does make me laugh however to see Kaka such an easy going player getting so upset.

Xavi said during the WC that he hoped Spain wasn't going to meet Denmark in the later stages as he was of the opinion that Poulsen was one of the most difficult players he had ever played against.

Don't know whether it was to please the gathering Danish journalists but the fact remains - he can be a real pain in the arse for the opponents.

Bit both ways I reckon, that last tackle on Gattuso is definitely rugby.

*Can I just add that he has matured a as a player since so I doubt we'll see that many blatant unnecessary fouls in the Liverpool-shirt from his part.

Yeah I remember that, some people may say that it is beneficial that he hounds players and makes it difficult, but he won't get away with it much in the league.

Its not a partnership I would have high hopes for to be honest!

As I say though Poulsen has done nothing wrong so far so I am hoping he can be a decent player for us. Lucas however has been dreadful for ages so he can do one.

Pacheco was terrible against robotnik. He has looked good when coming off the bench at times though.
