I would have paid Henrys entire fortune just to have Ronaldo in our team. Absolutly fantastic. Cunt, but jeezzess he's good.

Huntelaar hasnt impressed at all

He's a player who really needs service - and he's had no touches really around the box that I can remember. The Dutch team need to gut out some of these selfish egos (Start with Robben) and build on the new class of talent that's being ushered in the eredivision.

Ronaldo is the most selfish twat I've ever seen play though - the amount of times he complains for not getting a pass that he never gives in similar positions is unreal. Sure, I'd have him on our team but I'd rather win and see him crying on the other side.

I said this the other day, I just don't get the hype. Maybe he's just having a bad tournament, I haven't seen him play a great amount of football, but what I have seen he's been very underwhelming.

I've seen him in quite a few games, he's got some good skill to be fair but that's about it. He's not particularly quick or strong and is a bit of a shithouse.

Could be a good player but he's just meh as it stands now.

I'm quite glad Germany and Portugal went through even though I have the Dutch in a sweepstakes. They just played shit for the whole thing. And if I'm being honest I'd prefer a tournament with Ronaldo still in it. The Portuguese could be dangerous now because, with all the arguments about them not having a striker, if Ronaldo hits his stride they wont need one.

Portugal played that perfectly. They're great on the counter reminding me a little of Utd.

I'm not particularly fond of that Dutch side either so I didn't mind seeing them go out. Spineless indeed.

I'm also left a little bewildered by Van Persie. It's almost like he was doing that on purpose.

That's what you get for sticking 6 showboating cunts in your line up Holland; raped.

And people wonder why the likes of Kuyt are revered by managers who have a fucking clue about balance. He'd have been backtracking to cover the hapless right-back that Ronaldo ripped the dick out of for 90 minutes. Instead you've got VDV, Robben, and the rest of 'em looking at their reflection in their boots.

Fuck Holland. I'm glad Portugal won, sure they've got a team full of cunts, but no bigger or worse than Holland's collection of superstar cunts. And in Ronaldo, they've got the best player at this tournament by a stretch.

The Dutch served up a lesson in how not to play against him, but you've still got to have the talent and temperament to take advantage of it. He won that game off his own boot.

If anything, the Dutch need to get shot of van Marwijk, and get in someone who'll build around some of the terrific talent they have. Overhaul the midfield, get rid of the old guns like van Bommel, De Jong and even van der Vaart and Robben. Build around Clasie, Strootman, and Luuk de Jong, who're all world class talents, and others like Fer, Narsingh etc.

I actually think Van Der Weil wasn't bad ... He's one of the best young RBs in the world too (If I'm not mistaken, Kuyt played for the same manager throughout the World Cup ...)

get rid of the old guns like van Bommel, De Jong

I thought De Jong was excellent yesterday - I think he should lead that team. A bit of a nutter, but he's tough as nails and cares.

Yeah, to be fair, de Jong isn't that old either. They should get rid of van Bommel for sure, and even VdV.

Well I think it's fair to say that while Ireland were the poorest team at the tournament, Netherlands were by far the most disappointing.

I actually was impressed with VdV yesterday - I think he should be one of the team's elder statesmen ... Robben should be fucked off though.

Did anyone notice that Ronaldo came out with a pristine looking hair style for the second half?

He must of spent all of the half time break sorting that out..............WHAT A DICK HEAD!

Yup, with Kuyt, they'd have won every game and had no problems with missing the goal against the Danes!

That wasn't the point, I'm not saying Kuyt is the be all and end all, or the answer to everything. The last time I saw him play for them he did what he always does for Holland - put in a good performance. He had a hand in a couple of goals, including providing a great cross for Huntelaar. Contrast that to the much more naturally gifted but infinitely selfish Robben and a less than confident RVP. They could have done with his experience and his willingness to fight. Too many superstars were trying to steal the limelight, they looked disjointed and anything but a team. He might not have made that great a difference, but when you look at how he usually performs for them and the qualities they lacked in the tournament, it's a no-brainer.

I think the manager went with Kuyt a lot during the WC (2010) ... so it's not like he had a vendetta against him or something else. Kuyt has had a terrible year - maybe that's why he didn't play. Robben, VdV, Huntelaar etc were bitching non-stop and moaning - maybe that's why the manager decided to go with them and not Kuyt. I really don't know. Don't think it would have made any difference. Players like Kuyt are probably better for the Dutch, considering how cancerous that locker room seems to be, than players twats like Robben etc.

LTW - you seem to be looking for an agenda here from me, I'm not saying anyone had a vendetta against him, or that his club form shouldn't have had an impact on whether he played. I was just suggesting THEY might have benefited from playing him more.
