Half time thoughs:
* Rooney has had a decent game. However, just like against Italy, his chance was one a player of his calibre should have buried.
* Uruguay seem to be very happy to see Baines and GlenJo get the ball non-stop. They're both doing nothing to make them change that strategy.
* This seems to be a level 'too high' for Baines.
* The goal ... Excellent movement and header from Suarez. Johnson gave Cavani so much time on the ball - he had almost 3 seconds to tough the ball a few times and pick a cross. It's poor defending imo, but I know some will defend it.
* Henderson is doing his job - but he'll be subbed off for no reason within 15-20 minuts for Wilshere.
* Uruguay are lucky to have 11 men on the pitch. Godin's elbow to Sturridge's throat was a second yellow.

I was thinking that after 15 mins. Please bring on Shaw for Baines & Rooney drop deeper (as he did in the last 10 mins and we started to apply pressure). Personally I'd take of Welbeck for Lallana too. Welbeck just doesn't seem to have the necessary control in tight spaces.
Think Godin will get that Red in the 2nd half and that will be the necessary stimulus for England to come back for a draw.
Don't think Rooney could have done much more with that header LTW .. he was a full 2 feet off the ground and stretching that bull-dog's neck for all he was worth.

I think Sterling needs to eb moved into the middle of the pitch. He will cause them more problems than on the flank.

Do something Hodgson you useless twat! so disjointed and look terrible without the ball, not playing Lallana in both games has been a mistake, the man can keep hold of the ball and make something happen which England struggle and are struggling to do, although they have all been meh i cant help but shake my head at Welbeck, just wastes it so often.

Pretty rubbish first half. Rooney looks shit and generally apathetic. Sterling and Sturridge have looked the most likely to change the game for us whilst still being below par. Welbeck looks his usual "lively" self without being able to retain possession or offer any kind of goal threat. Lallana should have started this game (and indeed the Italy one).
