He had a couple good seasons and has been utter shit since.

For some reason since he's seen to be a gentle giant, a nice guy, people don't seem to care. I loathe Emile Heskey, and I knew as soon as the predictable happened, and Heskey was once again upfront for England, despite scoring no goals, ever, anywhere, for the last many years, it'd be deja vu all over again.

Lots of things to recommend him, but in the end, he's shit and ineffective.

Think of the mid 90's England who could choose from Shearer, Sheringham, Fowler, Cole, Beardsley, Collymore..The standards have slipped a great deal.
