El-Hadji Diouf has launched another expletive-laden attack on former Liverpool team-mates Jamie Carragher and Steven Gerrard.
The former Senegal striker also tore into Anton Ferdinand and spoke of his intention to become a politician because “whatever I do, it’s incredible”.
But former Diouf saves most of his ire for former Reds, Carragher and Gerrard.
“The difference between Jamie [Carragher] and me is that I am a world-class player and he is a s**t,” Diouf told France’s So Footmagazine.
“The type of s**t that writes a book and mentions me all the time. Me, in my book, he does not warrant one phrase: he’s a f*****g loser.”
Diouf then compared his standing in the international game to that of Gerrard.
“I carried the [Senegal] national team for many years, 14 million fans on my shoulders. When we won, it was thanks to me, when we lost, it was my fault. What I represented for Senegal, he [Gerrard] never managed 100th of that for England. He has never done anything in the World Cup or the Euros.
“When I arrived at Liverpool, seeing as I just did what I wanted, he thought that I did not respect the club. But he downright killed his team by slipping against Chelsea. If Liverpool has never won the Premier League, it’s no accident. What goes around, comes around.”
Diouf then turns his focus to former Sunderland team-mate Ferdinand.
“We were not fighting, I sorted him out, before we were separated,” he claimed. “I said to him, ‘Let’s go to the gym, I will take you on.’ He did not want to. I said, ‘You are like your brother. You walk like him, you eat like him – write your own story.’ Inevitably, it was difficult in terms of atmosphere, I spent six s****y months there. We were not a team. There were little w*****s in the group who thought they were the best but they were crap. Anton, he was the number one w****r.”
Diouf spoke of a chance reunion with Ferdinand in a Manchester nightclub.
“I ignored him; that must have bothered him, so he came over to test me. I’m a man, I can defend myself. If there is a crazy guy who wants to take me on, I’ll show him that I’m crazier than him.
“The first of his friends who came too close to me, he ended up running away. Since I was drinking champagne, I broke my glass and I attacked them… I came out unscathed, and since then, the club now uses plastic glasses.”
After retiring from football, former Bolton, Blackburn and Leeds forward Diouf has set his sights on making a difference as a politician in Senegal.
“After El-Hadji Diouf the footballer, you will see El-Hadji Diouf the businessman and politician!
“In Saint-Louis, everyone is waiting for me, they want me to become mayor. With my background and knowledge, I will make one of the most beautiful cities in Africa. I am going to change things for my country.
“Football or politics: whatever I do, it’s incredible.”
