Early days yet, and even if it weren't I wouldn't necessarily be gloating, and even if I was gloating, it wouldn't be hysterically.

Wins the PL, by a million miles. I have no particular desire to see them relegated at all, and no particular objection to them winning the league, indeed most years I'd consider it a positive good, seeing as it stops Utd winning it.

I don't think I fall into the 'haters' or 'non-haters' crowd (at least not yet), but surely scoring 6 against a 'nothing to play for' Norwegian team and 3 against a Sunderland team who's barely won in the last year isn't cause for celebration just yet?

No, no, no, he at least deserves a 'Well done' thread.😛 😉

Man city are going to win the league again this year ... That solves your 'Fergie winning' problem. So?

Wins them a Premier League, because that would mean it wasn't United. Relegation can wait till after Ferguson buggers off.

I wish I had your confidence, Wizzy, but I'm concerned this season. Under Mancini I'm not convinced they'll kick on the way they need to in order to stay ahead of those cnuts.

As JJ said, firstly I don't think City will win it. I make Utd favourites. Secondly, I don't prefer City winning it to Chelsea, so Chelsea winning it doesn't do me any harm.

If it doesn't do me any harm for Chelsea to win it, and coincidentally brings me huge satisfaction from Rafa winning it, then obviously I will be cheering for that to happen, as the net result is an increase in my satisfaction.

I understand why you want Rafa to succeed, but wouldn't it be great to see Roman and their 'dream' implode? Come on.

As for Citeh/Manure, I am back to being unsure. I thought City would take them today and be dominant the rest of the way. I was wrong.

All things being equal, I'd like Chelsea to get relegated. But they're not, so I don't.

I'm not sure why you were so confident City would win the title tbh, to me they've looked unconvincing all season.

Yah, and United have? they've been behind in almost every game this year it feels!

Utd, as you should know by now, are, well, Utd.

There's a difference.

They've never looked so vulnerable imo - they've gone down to every single level of club, lower premier league, lower European league etc etc ... Something isn't right there, and it's just unfortunate the league is so shit that no one can take advantage of it.

Well, maybe. Personally I've long since stopped analysing them and hoping for an end to the nightmare, because as long as Sir Alex is there the winning will never stop.

You're probably the wiser for that ... no expectations means you can't get upset when they inevitably do the thing they've done best the last 20 odd years. cunts.
