Can we have it all in here?
Anyways from my part of the world-like:
Erik Sviatchenko on the move from Celtic to the Premiership where at least two unnamed clubs are interested.
Anyone seen him much for Celtic this season? I kinda think he's at least on par with the once we've got already, young, strong and eager to learn. If we were in the market for a young defender, with potential who actually ticks some of the boxes we lack he might not be a bad choice young Erik?
Klavan has looked extraordinary ordinary of late and I'd be tempted to chop him - that leaves us with Matip (who's arguably the best of the lot but still finding his feet), Lovren (I am not sure his attitude will ever be good enough, he just seems to 'turn off' during matches in vital moments) and Gomez, who's very raw. And then there's Lucas.. yeah.
I have no idea how much Erik will cost potential suitors but around £6-8M should do the trick and in this crazy market, with his current ability and potential, etc., that could perhaps not be a completely awful bit of business.
And he's certainly not your average footballer persona, very thoughtful and clever and I believe his winning attitude is probably his best trait of all. A real warrior on the pitch - and a hipster off it but I guess we can live with that if he delivered the goods..
Bonus info: his father is a famous Ukrainian artist.
