At least Roberto Martinez has been able to get over the disappointment of not getting the LFC job by becoming a ref at the euros.

This Poland team is underrated.

Goalie from Arsenal, 4 title winners from Anderlecht and Dortmund, 1 ex-title winner from Lille, 2 others plying their trade in Bundesliga, 1 from French Ligue, 1 from Russian Premier League. The only player from domestic league has played almost 300 league games.

Arguably not deserved. First yellow wasn't a foul, second yellow......fair enough

Ninis is the only one for greece who looks good.

I'd have him. Think hes on a free

Spain's Carlos Velasco Carballo is no stranger to big occasions, having refereed the 2011 UEFA Europa League final, but being tasked with officiating the opening game at a UEFA European Championship is a rare honour indeed. Only 12 men have previously had the pleasure, and the 41-year-old told UEFA.com that he is confident he will not become unlucky No13 when Poland face Greece on Friday.

Certainly unlucky no. 13 in the eyes of the Greeks

I like hansen refusing to say blazycwowski or whatever
