Encouraging stuff from him against Toronto FC. Contracted until 2014 and qualifies as a 'home grown' talent under the Premier League's ruling.

After the short loan stint with Norwich in the Championship, he was involved in a bizzarre loan deal with Atletico Madrid who in turn loaned him to Rayo Vallecano. Did not manage to get much playing time there either and it seems like Atletico Madrid did not take up the option to sign him up permanently.

What's next for 'The Assassin'?

Back in 2011 after leaving on loan:
"I did not get tired of Liverpool and I hope I have not ended my time there because it is a good competition"

"But with Rafa Benitez's departure I felt my progress has been held back and I wanted to go somewhere I was at ease and could show my strengths.

Not to mention he's had 'one' half decent game against a Canadian side.

I eagerly await the "Pacheco's World Class performance against Toronto" youtube flick.

If this lad was English or anything else non exotic or non Scandinavian, Modo would be telling everyone how shit he is.

I like pacheco. Always had great ability bit never delivered. If he smashes pre season to bits, then we should keep him, unless we're offered more than 7m

Modo seriously mate you are a weapon look at me everyone I'm right Pacheco is amazing. It is one single friendly match. I still reserve my judgement, the lad failed both at Atleti and Rayo. And lets not forget the last player to look decent in friendlies who didn't make it. I'll stick my neck out here and say Pacheco will be lucky to be on the bench week in week out when the season kicks in. Alot of the players on show won't be anywhere near the 1st team come Aug. They are there to make the numbers up.
 
I'm trying to say that it's too soon to make any type of judgement on Pacheco.
 
I'd be pretty surprised if he stayed on and featured much after doing next to nothing over the last two years. It'd be a nice bonus though.
 
Or if the nickname 'Patches' wasn't the gayest ever advanced in respect of a professional footballer. That's a name a 3 year old girl gives to a toy.
