Also, how fucking thick is Is to sell skrtel and buy an injured defender
I have no problem if Papa John misses the first month or so of the season regaining his fitness and Agger and Kolo have to play in the mean time. I really hope we sign him, as long as we're 100% sure his injury is completely healed up.

We shouldn't sell a defender and buy someone injuredSelling Skrtel and buying Papadopolous is NOT a thick idea.
Wheter or not he's out injured is irrelevant imho. He's started training again now, which is why we're apparantly going for him. Kolo Toure can fill in while he getting his fitness back.
If we agree a fee then he'll go through a pretty hefty medical before signing.
This lad is 21 and already better than Skrtel. We're talking about a massive fucking signing. And if we wait 6-12 months while he proves himself after the injury then we could well miss out when other big clubs show their interest again.

We did it with Alonso/aquilani
We did it with Torres/carroll
It's risky
First example, OK.
The second one, was more about the replacement being shite.
To the contrary I believe.Hasn't Rodgers already said that we won't be making any more signings for the defence?
Agree, that price hurts and makes you wonder if it is worth selling.Skrtel is worth more than 7 million.

Bullcrap.
Napoli already have Albiol and Cannavaro. I'm finding it hard to believe that Benitez doesn't rate their captain.
So Skrtel is content with being 3r choice for a season or two?Cannavaro is 32 they need another CB
