Normally I would be very cynical, but Coutinho seems like one of the few that actually enjoys playing for Liverpool.

Neymar and Coutinho go way back so there might not be anything of real substance behind this, just someone talking up his mate.
I don't see where Coutinho would fit in at Barca at the moment anyways. They've got Rafinha who they really seem to like and Turan who they've just spunked 40M Euros on.

Rafinha is out injured and probably won't be back until next season. Turan play in a different position. He is the Pedro replacement.

Hopefully Keni is correct about it being a coincidence as Neymar and Coutinho go way back to their Brazil days. I would not be surprised to see Coutinho leave in the next year or two though.

Oh yeah, forgot about him going off the other week. Is he out for the season then? Shame for him.
Turan can play out wide but I don't really see him as Pedro's replacement per se. Pedro's main strength was pace and ability to make runs in behind. That's very different to what Turan offers...

If it happens, I hope it is not a long drawn out saga. And since we are going to waste the money anyway, dont care about the transfer fee also. Give them Sturridge too in fact. Get Mahrez or Bolasie or whomever is playing well at Southampton in quickly.
