So why did Gerrard give up corner juties?

He took the first two which were awful and Yossi's was a good whipped in ball.

We really need Gerrard in the box as he is our best attracking threat in the air.

I really hope Yossi takes them from now on.

In the last few games, Gerrard has shared corner-taking duties with Yossi and Lucas.

Whilst I don't think it can be said those two are better set-piece takers than Gerrard, he had a particularly bad day at the office as far as set-pieces are concerned yesterday.

Gerrard is more dangerous in the box at the moment. 6"2 and a decent header of the ball, I think Aurelio and Lucas/Benayoun can take the corners for a while.
