Modern full-back really... Lovely going forward, pacey, has a great great touch, and is extremely comfortable with the ball at feet. But he's positionally all over the shop.

My abiding memory was how fit he was. He fucking lamped it up and down the left side for 90 minutes, I was playing up front at the time so just watched him go really. His dad was a famous Aussie player so everyone kinda knew he'd become something special.

Derby - Tom Ince (reportedly £4.75 million)

[article=http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/derby-county-complete-tom-ince-signing-from-hull-city-2524442.aspx#G4S2vRw0YQYfdqcU.99]Derby County have moved to complete the permanent transfer of Tom Ince from Hull City.

Ince has signed a four-year contract with the Rams and an undisclosed fee has been paid for his signature, ending the club’s summer-long pursuit of his services.

The 23-year-old forward starred during an impressive loan spell at the iPro Stadium during the second half of last season.

He quickly became a fans’ favourite with his mazy attacking runs and spectacular goals during his temporary stay in Derbyshire – but now he’s back for good.

The 2013 Football League Young Player of the Year scored 11 times in 18 appearances, as well as laying on a number of assists for his team-mates.

His form was so impressive in a Derby shirt that he was named as the Sky Bet Championship’s ‘Player of the Month’ for April.

He is the sixth player to join Derby this summer following the arrivals of Darren Bent, Alex Pearce, Scott Carson, Chris Baird and Andreas Weimann last month.

Derby County Head Coach Paul Clement said: “I’m delighted that we have been able sign Tom Ince on a permanent basis.

“I’m aware of the positive impact he had on the side during his time on loan last season from speaking to people at the club, and also watching a number of the matches back myself.

“He is an exciting talent, there’s no doubt about it, and he’s another very positive addition to the squad.”

He added: “I feel that we’re in a good place with how the squad is looking right now and credit to Sam Rush and Chris Evans for the work they have concluded, bringing in six quality signings this summer.”

President & Chief Executive Sam Rush said: “I’m thrilled that we have succeeded in our mission to bring Tom Ince back to Derby County. We faced a good deal of competition and we should put on record our thanks to the Chairman and the Board for supporting this acquisition.

“While the fee remains undisclosed at the request of both clubs it is fair to say this is a significant outlay for Derby County.

“We’re all aware of the impact he had on the side during his short spell on loan last season and we’re delighted that he is now a fully-fledged Derby player.

“Paul Clement made it clear that he wanted Tom in his squad and I’m really pleased that we’ve been able to get the deal concluded.”

He added: “We’ve added six excellent players to an already very talented squad and I believe that his signing demonstrates our desire and determination to be a side competing at the top of the division in the coming season.”

Having made his professional debut for Liverpool in 2010, Ince moved to Blackpool in the summer of 2011 in an undisclosed deal.

In total he started 86 league games for Seasiders and scored 31 goals, establishing himself as one of the brightest and most exciting talents in the English game. During his time with Blackpool he was named as the 2013 Football League Young Player of the Year.

His impressive form at Bloomfield Road continued up to January 2014 when, following interest from a number of clubs, he moved to Premier League Crystal Palace on loan for the rest of the campaign.

He made eight appearances and scored once, against West Bromwich Albion, as Palace retained their Premier League status.

Upon the expiry of his contract at Blackpool last summer, Ince was linked with a host of clubs before eventually signing for Hull City.

He made nine appearances in total for the Tigers, scoring once, and had a brief spell at Nottingham Forest, where he made six appearances before being recalled by the KC Stadium outfit.

In total he has made 135 professional starts in his career – as well as 32 substitute appearances -and scored 48 goals.

Ince has also been capped by England at Under 17, Under 19 and Under 21 level, securing 26 caps in total across all levels.[/article]

Conor Coady - Wolves (reportedly £2 million)
CI_YwbkW8AAXgsa.jpg

[article=http://www.wolves.co.uk/news/article/coady-signs-for-wolves-2524051.aspx#Cye1Egjyl1CgpHM8.99]Wolves are delighted to have completed the signing of highly-rated midfielder Conor Coady.

The 22-year-old, who came through the ranks at Liverpool, has put pen to paper on a three-year-contract - with an additional year's option - for an undisclosed fee to move to Molineux from Huddersfield Town.

Coady enjoyed an impressive 2014/15 season with the Terriers, making 48 appearances, scoring three goals.

One of those, his first for the club, was a spectacular long-range strike which came in the 3-1 win at Molineux last October.

Coady will be less pleased to recall the own goal notched when the two clubs met again and Wolves won 4-1 at the John Smith’s Stadium back in February.

The affable midfielder also came up against Wolves the previous season during a loan spell with Sheffield United during which he made 50 appearances and scored six goals.

Coady joined Liverpool’s Academy as a 12-year-old coming through to become captain of the club’s Under-21s and twice appearing on the bench in the Barclays Premier League as a teenager during the 2010/11 season.

He eventually made his senior Liverpool debut in November 2012 in a Europa League game at Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala, with his Premier League debut, and second and final senior appearance for the Reds, soon following in a 3-1 win over Fulham at Craven Cottage in May 2013.

Coady has enjoyed plenty of international recognition through the England junior ranks.

Capped all the way through from Under-16 to Under-20 level, one particular highlight came in the Under-17 European Championships in 2010, where Coady captained an England squad including Benik Afobe to victory, defeating Spain in the final.

Head Coach Kenny Jackett said: "I am delighted to bring Conor Coady into the club.

"He had a very good season at Huddersfield last year - his first at this level - and he will complement the midfield players that we have.

"He is in the type of age group that will have the hunger to improve and try and build on what he did last year.

"We are looking for him to come in and help drive the club forward and pick up from where he left off as an impressive performer in the Championship last year."

Speaking after finalising his move to Molineux, Coady said: “It’s massive for me. I’m really thrilled to be here and I cannot wait to get going. I’m made up.

“It’s a huge, huge club and one that I really couldn’t turn down.

“Last year was huge for me. Huddersfield was a fantastic club for me to be at and I’m really grateful for what they gave me.

“It’s a new chapter now and I really can’t wait to get going."[/article]

Foderingham spent four years at the County Ground after Paulo Di Canio signed him following a successful loan spell.

He went on to make over 150 appearances for The Robins and impressed as the team were promoted by winning League Two in his first season.
Foderingham started his career at Fulham before signing his first professional contract with Crystal Palace in August 2010.

He was loaned out to a number of lower league clubs to gain experience including Histon and Bromley before moving to Swindon and never returning to Palace as was his impact with Town.

Born on 19 July 1989, Neto’s career began at the Cruzeiro youth academy before he switched to the club that handed him his debut in professional football in 2009, Atletico Paranaense.

Two seasons and 36 championship appearances later, he was on the move again, swapping Brazil for Italy after Fiorentina came calling in January 2011.

The Brazilian’s first start for the Florence club was in a Coppa Italia triumph over Empoli in November 2011 and he would soon go on to stake his claim for a regular first team spot, becoming the Viola’s number one goalkeeper by the beginning of the 2013/14 campaign.

Last year saw Neto gain important European experience during Fiorentina’s run to the Europa League semi-finals, while he also on the radar of Brazil’s national coach Dunga, linking up with the squad for this summer’s Copa America finals in Chile after Diego Alves pulled out through injury.

[article=https://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/07/falcao-loan-agreed.html]Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce we have agreed terms with Monaco for the season-long loan of Radamel Falcao.

The Colombian international will link up with Jose Mourinho’s squad for the 2015/16 campaign and said: 'I am very happy to be joining Chelsea and can't wait to start training and help with our aim of retaining the league title and being successful in Europe.'

The 29-year-old has built a reputation as one of Europe’s most feared strikers, having started his career as a teenager in his homeland before joining Argentinian giants River Plate in 2001.

Eight years later, having established himself as one of South America’s hottest properties, Falcao arrived in Europe at Porto, where he made his Champions League debut against Chelsea. He may not have scored that evening but soon began finding the net regularly as he lifted successive Europa League titles, first with Porto and the second after joining Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011.

Having scored a hat-trick against the Blues in the 2012 UEFA Super Cup, the striker left Madrid for Monaco in the summer of 2013, enjoying an impressive first half of the campaign before injury ruled him out of the rest of the season and the following summer’s World Cup.

After two goals in three games at the beginning of last season, he joined Manchester United on loan for the campaign, helping Louis van Gaal’s side back into the Champions League.

Falcao is now reunited with former Atletico team-mates Thibaut Courtois, Filipe Luis and Diego Costa, as well as international colleague Juan Cuadrado.[/article]

The 23-year old full back arrives on Wearside after pencilling a four-year deal until 2019 at the Stadium of Light.

Speaking about Matthews’ arrival, head coach Dick Advocaat said: “We know that we need quality players to improve competition for places in the side, so Adam is a welcome addition to our squad and we are very pleased to welcome him to Sunderland.”

SAFC’s sporting director Lee Congerton added: “Adam is a player we have been tracking for some time. Even though he is only 23 years old, he has a wealth of experience, and I am sure he will continue to improve under the leadership of Dick Advocaat.”

Matthews began his career with Cardiff City, making over 40 appearances for the Welsh side between 2009 and 2011, before moving north of the border to Scottish giants Celtic FC.

Jack Hunt - Sheff Wed (loan)

[article=http://www.swfc.co.uk/news/article/jack-hunt-joins-the-owls-on-loan-2524960.aspx#wY3TyczMG9cVwRs6.99]Sheffield Wednesday have bolstered their ranks by signing Crystal Palace full back Jack Hunt.

The 24-year-old has joined the Owls on a season-long loan.

The attacking right back graduated through Huddersfield Town’s youth system, Hunt made his debut for the Terriers in January 2011 after previous loan spells at Grays Athletic and Chesterfield.

The 24-year-old right back went on to make 121 appearances for Town and played a key role in the Terriers’ promotion to the Championship in 2011/12 making 50 appearances.

His powerful performances for the West Yorkshire club in the Championship attracted interest from the Premier League and in September 2013, Crystal Palace signed the defender for an undisclosed fee, reported to be in the region of £2m.

An ankle injury disrupted Hunt’s start at Selhurst Park and after a period on the sidelines, the attacking defender joined Barnsley and made 11 appearances in the Championship for the Oakwell club.

Hunt was back on the move last term, starting the season on loan with Nottingham Forest where he played 19 times before switching to Championship rivals Rotherham in January 2015.

The Palace man featured 16 times in the run-in for Steve Evans’ side and aided the Millers in their bid for Championship safety. [/article]

Lukas Podolski - Galatasaray (£1.8 million)
CJE-ky8WsAAVbj0.jpg

[article]Lukas Podolski has joined Galatasaray from Arsenal on a three-year deal, with the Turkish club paying about £1.8m.

The Galatasaray president, Dursun Aydin Ozbek, said: “Podolski was a player we have been following for a long time. We have met the expectations of our fans. We think he will serve us for many years.”

Podolski, 30, was expected to leave the Emirates Stadium this summer having slipped down the pecking order following the arrivals of players such as Mesut Özil and Alexis Sánchez. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Internazionale and has now signed a contract with the Super Lig champions, with an option for a fourth year in place.

Galatasaray announced the deal on their website, with the former Bayern Munich man tweeting a picture of himself inside the Turk Telecom Arena. Podolski, who scored 19 goals for Arsenal in 60 league appearances after joining them from Cologne in 2012, had long been linked with a move to Galatasaray and his agent Nassim Touihri said on Friday that Arsène Wenger had begrudgingly allowed the player to leave.

“We had good talks with Wenger,” Touihri said. “He wanted to keep Lukas at Arsenal but could not guarantee him a starting position. That’s why we agreed to make a transfer.”

Despite moving to Arsenal with a fine reputation, Podolski’s chances became limited as Wenger added Özil, Sánchez and Danny Welbeck to his forward options. He also has Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain at his disposal, making it difficult for the Frenchman to guarantee Podolski the game-time he craves.[/article]

Santi Mina - Valencia (reportedly €10 million)
CJE8B8FUYAAVTF8.jpg

[article]Valencia have announced the signing of Celta Vigo youngster Santi Mina this Saturday, with Los Che picking up the forward for his minimum fee release clause of merely 10 million euros.

His former club thanked the player on their official website for "his performances and conduct" during his time with Os Celestes, wishing Santi Mina "lots of success in his new sporting chapter."

The player has signed on a six-year-deal until the 30th of June 2021, after completing a medical at the club.

"It's a dream for me. Joining a big club like Valencia at such a young age is not easy and I know the responsibility that I have. I am going to fight every day to repay the confidence place in me by Valencia and my aim is to help my teammates and the manager, as we strive to continue to be one of the best teams in Spain."

"I am leaving a club for whom I have given everything; the Celta fans have made me very happy and I will always remember them. I know that the fans at Valencia are also incredible - some of the most loyal in the world, who never stop supporting their side. I can't wait to play at the Mestalla and give my all to repay them for the affection they show to all the players."

Valencia chairwoman Lay Hoon Chan, also shared her thoughts: "Santi Mina is one of the most promising young Spanish players, who has experience playing in La Liga. He will make his mark on our existing squad."

"Our project in Valencia is a long-term one and a young player like Santi will help us build up our team to meet all of the challenges for many years. The renewal of our young players such as Alcacer and Gaya, plus the arrival of Santi, makes it clear that we are looking at a bright future for the team."[/article]

[article=http://www.readingfc.co.uk/news/article/jonathan-bond-reading-transfers-2526267.aspx#E8ZhZou0gxO2MrqT.99]The Royals are delighted to have signed England under 21 international goalkeeper Jonathan Bond from newly-promoted Watford.

Bond is a very highly-rated young prospect who has five England Under 21 caps. At 6'4" he cuts an imposing presence with great attributes, and has even more room to grow and develop his natural ability.

The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year contract, and we have paid an undisclosed fee for his services.

With the arrivals of Orlando Sa, Stephen Quinn, Paul McShane and now Jonathan, four players have been adeed to Steve Clarke's squad in the space of just five days as we look to the new Sky Bet Championship season.

Jonathan has played almost 50 games in his career so far, and was a very able deputy to Brazilian international Heurelho Gomes as Watford surged to promotion last season. On his second Championship appearance of the season against Derby he was named man of the match following a series of stunning stops. And in the past he has also learned from backing up Maunel Almunia in the Hornets' goalkeeping ranks.

Jonathan has just returned from this summer's UEFA U21 European Championships, where he was part of Gareth Southgate's squad, and he will travel to Thailand with our first team squad this Sunday.

He also spent time in Wales' youth setup from U17s to u21s, and also trained with their full national team alongside Chris Gunter and Hal Robson-Kanu.

We would like to wish Jonathan the very best of luck here at Madejski Stadium. [/article]

Danilo Pereira - Porto (undisclosed fee)
CJBGZzTVEAANCr0.jpg

[article=http://www.fcporto.pt/en/noticias/Pages/Danilo-Pereira-por-quatro-epocas.aspx]Danilo Pereira is the newest reinforcement at FC Porto for 2015/16, having signed a contract valid for the next four seasons, with a release fee set at 40 million euros. The 23 years old midfielder, who recently played for the Portuguese national squad, comes to Estádio do Dragão after a great season at Marítimo.

On his first talk with the white and blue jersey, Danilo Pereira didn’t conceal how happy he was to sign for the club he wanted the most, promising to give everything he has on the pitch. “I’m proud and thrilled to wear this jersey, and I feel great responsibility, which I am willing to carry. I will fight and give everything I have to help the team fulfil objectives, which include becoming national champions”, the new Dragon stated.

The newest midfielder assured he is “comfortable” in playing anywhere in the midfield, showing excitement with the possibility to play the Champions League, but not anxiety. “I’m comfortable playing in any position in the midfield, both on the offence or the defence, as a 6 or 8. All players want to be in the Champions League, and I’m no exception, but that doesn’t make me anxious, I’ll calmly wait for it to happen”, Danilo continued, before making a promise to the fans: “Count on me to fight and honour the white and blue jersey”.

Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa, who actually called Julen Lopetegui so he could welcome Danilo Pereira, praised the quality of the new white and blue reinforcement and the help of Carlos Pereira, chairman of Marítimo, throughout the entire process. “Not only is Danilo Pereira a great player, he also always showed his desire to play in FC Porto. He had several proposals, but Carlos Pereira always gave him full freedom to choose where he wanted to go. And Danilo always wanted FC Porto”, the white and blue leader stated.

The chairman of the Dragons also praised the fact that Danilo Pereira got to the main Portuguese squad still very young and without playing in one of the big teams, finally admitting he has great expectations regarding the midfielder. “Danilo has great quality and plenty of determination on the pitch. As if that wasn’t enough, he did all he could to come to FC Porto, and that moved me. Long before he signed for us, he told his previous chairman that this is where he wanted to play and actually refused better offers, so he could come to FC Porto. For all that, I believe Danilo Pereira will be a true Dragon”.[/article]

Milos Jojic began his career at Partizan Belgrade, where he quickly established himself as a regular and even featured in the Europa League at the tender age of 20. In January 2014 he made the switch to Borussia Dortmund, where he featured in 20 Bundesliga matches and 5 times in the Champions League. Most recently he featured for the Serbian U21 team at the European Championships, playing as a starter in all three of the group matches.

“Milos Jojic is a talented player, who has featured on the international from a young age,” said Jörg Schmadtke. “He can play a variety of positions on the field, and is good on dead-ball situations. He is also already familiar with the Bundesliga and has shown his quality here.”

Manager Peter Stöger states: “I am happy Milos Jojic has decided to join us. In our meeting he made it clear that he would do whatever it takes to fit into our team. Milos will no doubt become a vital part of our play and bring a new dimension to our offensive gameplan.”

Milos Jojic will join the team for training this coming Monday at Geissbockheim.

The transfer of Felipe Santana from Schalke 04 to 1. FC Köln did not go through. The Brazilian defender underwent a medical check on Wednesday, where he was diagnosed with a torn right calf muscle.

"We analyed the given circumstances and voted against the transfer of Felipe Santana," said FC General Manager Jörg Schmadtke. "At this moment we currently have only a single central defender active in training. Dominique Heintz will only join training in the middle of July, while Mergim Mavraj will remain sidelined for some while. This is why we believed a transfer for a player would only be sensible if the player was active and ready to train right away. Santana would miss at least the next three weeks and would then have to be brought back into training. We will continue to look at further options."[/article]

Anelka, 36, played for the Indian Super League side last season under ex-Manchester City manager Peter Reid.

"He impressed us all with his tactical knowledge and excellent motivational skills," said Mumbai City co-owner and Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor.

Anelka has filled a player-coach role before during a season spent at Chinese club at Shanghai Shenhua in 2012.

Roberto Carlos - Delhi Dynamos (Manager)

[article]Former Brazil and Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos will manage the Delhi Dynamos for the upcoming season of the Indian Super League.

The appointment, which was announced on the team's website on Sunday, is one of the biggest in the franchise-based league that saw players like Nicolas Anelka, Alessandro Del Piero, Robert Pires, Luis Garcia and David Trezeguet turn out for different teams in the inaugural season last year.

Known for his powerful free-kicks, he was a member of the Brazil World Cup squads that reached the final in 1998 and won the tournament in 2002.

The 42-year-old's managerial experience includes stints with Turkish sides Sivasspor and Akhisar Belediyespor.

The Delhi team, coached by Dutch coach Harm Van Veldhoven, had failed to make the semifinals of the eight-team competition last year.

The ISL has been the most highly anticipated pro league in India since cricket's Indian Premier League was launched in 2008, surpassing interest in similar competitions in more traditionally popular games in India like field hockey and kabaddi.

Though the standard of football has generally been dismal with India ranked only 141st in the FIFA rankings, the ISL has been seen as a means to glamorise the game.

The second season of the ISL will be held from Oct. 3-Dec. 20.[/article]

[article]Newly promoted Bologna have completed the signing of goalkeeper Antonio Mirante, following his release from Parma.

The 31-year-old became a free agent after the Ducali were confirmed bankrupt at the end of last season.

Mirante joins after an impressive season despite the Crociati’s off-field problems, and offers a wealth of experience after spells with Juventus, Siena and Sampdoria before joining Parma permanently in June 2010.

The talented shot-stopper was also a strong figure in the Gialloblu dressing room last season, speaking on behalf of his fellow teammates on numerous occasions.

On August 8, 2010, Mirante received his first senior call-up to the Italy national team set-up but has yet to appear for the Azzurri.[/article]
