When I was a kid, I used to sit through 15 pages on Teletext to get the the Club Gossip section where they would have a very vague headline and you had to ring up and pay for more information/lies. The headlines were along the lines of 'Reds Scout Super Star Striker!' & 'Midfield Hotshot Linked to Anfield!'.

Twitter is like that, but worse.
