Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti, meanwhile, has confirmed that new signing Fernando Torres WILL make his debut against Liverpool on Sunday, provided he is fit. "We will test tomorrow and the next day. If he has no problem, he will play against Liverpool."

should be a tasty this then. would love it if (big if) we manage to beat them. would be even sweeter if stevie or gets the winner.

Is it true he has said he hopes he scores against us ?

He's said it's destiny... fucking cunt.

good logic

prow won't though

"We have captured Suarez and Carroll. I believe these two will replace him and we will be at least as strong as we were with Nando," said the defender.

"We all feel sorry because he's a player of world class ability but, to be honest, it was no surprise.

"This season has not been going according to our wishes and expectations and that convinced him that it is the right time to move elsewhere. This is how he explained it to us.
.

"I wish him all the best but do not wish any success to Chelsea.

"Maybe Fernando will regret making this step sometime in the future."

Torres' debut could come against his former club at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.

Skrtel is confident, however, he can keep the 26-year-old quiet.

"It will be different because so far I have been playing against him only in training," the Slovakian told isport.blesk.cz.

"I hope he appears on the pitch and, since Chelsea wanted him so much, it is very likely that he will.

"I'm looking forward and firmly believe I won't let him score."

He's bound to score isnt he? I wonder if he will celebrate or refuse to celebrate?

He seems like the type to refuse to celebrate to show everyone what a stand up guy he is.

Yep he's proved that over the past few weeks or so, hasn't he? Torres is not a stand up guy when it comes to Liverpool FC.

Anyway, we should be worrying about how we get 3 more points. That's it. This is not revenge on Fernando or that club, its all about LFC from here on in.

he'll celebrate if his classless interview is anything to go by. the guy has a serious grudge against us. fuck knows why, HE was the one that wanted out.

Arsed if the cunt scores. We'll just score 27 goals and break his back and slap his wife while Terry jebs in her grid. Fuck the cunt. Fuck him.

The man is as brittle as a piece of China. Just give him a knock and put him off his pace for the whole game. We have all the medical data we need to make this a piece of cake, no?

You really gonna be that gullible?

I fancy us to be well up for this.
I hope Torres doesnt play. He's world class.
I want three points, not revenge.

I hope he plays and gets neutered by our defence.
I hope Suarez scores and we collect 3 points.

Exactly, well said Oncy.

We're not chavs. The Liverpool Way is all about class and dignity.
We do not wish our opponents broken legs and injuries.
If they want to act like pricks, let them. Why descend to their level ? Moral high ground or not, how different are we to them when we act like pricks ourselves ? Torres' gone. Judging by the game against Stoke, the team and club have moved on. So why aren't we following suit too ?

We'll beat them and crush their guts by doing what we do best i.e. by playing football.

So how do you reckon Kenny will line them up?

The 361 at Stoke was probably a one-time case, used specifically to deal with their players and tactics and my guess is we won't be playing that system often.
I also think it's safe to say that Reina, Kelly, Johnson, Lucas, Meireles, Gerrard and Kuyt are all certain starters.

Carra seems like an obvious choice to replace Skrtel but he has just returned from injury and we don't know anything about his level of fitness. It's worth noting that we managed 3 clean sheets in the last 3 games (admittedly against "lesser" teams). Looks like Agger is finally match fit while Skrtel certainly seems to be gaining confidence and starting to look decent again. He also managed to handle Drogba very well in the past.

Aurelio did well in midfield but I doubt he'll start there again, we'll probably return to the 433/4231 (or whatever you like to call it) with 3 central players, one striker and two supporting him from wider areas. The central trio will probably be Lucas, Gerrard and Meireles (unless we'll see Pucas or Aurelio in midfield again with Gerrard moving on either side of the striker).
As for the 3 attacking positions, Cole is apparently injured and even if not he hasn't been used at all lately so he's obviously not an option. Hopefully Suarez will start given we have so few other attacking options but who knows where. Kuyt excelled yesterday, will he be given another start up front or is he going to be used on the right with Suarez playing as the front man and Maxi/Aurelio on the left?

In any case, I firmly believe the King will get it right. If we win and Sunderland fail to beat Stoke away we go 6th, almost seems unbelievable after all the shit Roy has put us through.

Kuyt should continue upfront, he's got the strength and experience to do it.
It would be unfair to ask Suarez to shoulder that responsibility when he's barely played.
Ngog is also a no go.

My line up for Sunday:

Reina

Kelly Skrtel Agger Johnson

Lucas

Gerrard Meireles Aurelio

Suarez
Kuyt
