Yeah I said it was a huge "if". But Chelsea are 9 points ahead of us with a game on hand ( against the mancs). Like I say "if" we win on Sunday I will hope.

Incidentally I suspect we will need an even better average than 2 points per game

I called it (4th spot) a 12/1 shot the other day. i then checked with the bookies and we're widely a 16/1 shot.

I've had a cheeky tenner on. We need to beat Chelsea on sunday to have any chance - of course we'd also be on a nice little run then too.

We should relish these games, Chelsea at the Bridge is a good test, I'm sure the players and fans will respond. The final result will mean little in the grand scheme of things. A few glorious moments for us or them to gloat and then on to the next 'crucial' game. We need to be inspired not fearful, those days have gone.

Drogba will be happy. Goes to show what we've been saying though. Can't play Torres AND Drogba in the formation Chelsea play. Drogbas getting on at 32 mind so a replacement is probably needed but I'd still say there's live in the old Drog yet.
