21 games and 11 goals. He's been quite good I think. But had a long stretch were nor he or the team were playing particularly well.

I think it's always very difficult to judge when a team is so dominant, and scores so many goals, in their own league (Haaland at City for example). We'll see how they (and Mane) go in the CL from here on.

I haven’t followed Bayern all that closely, but it seems Mane struggled trying replace Lewandowski as a false 9 or to play in a “fluid” attack with plenty of wingers and no strikers. As soon as Nagelsmann abandoned that experiment and switched to a more traditional setup with Chupo-Moting in the #9 role, both Bayern’s and Mane’s form dramatically improved.

This is also why they will buy Harry Kane, probably (maybe even in January) - this season’s experience clearly showed the value of a top #9. It’s not just about the goals but also making the whole system work.

I’d say Man Utd are more likely to make a move for Kane - he’d never go to Chelsea (would he???) or they’d chuck money at him.

I just have a feeling Kane would like to play abroad and if his aim is to win some trophies in the latter part of his career, Bayern is a MUCH safer bet than United. Also it seems like there is a lot of genuine respect and admiration for Kane in Germany; they love their big centre-forwards.

I think Kane goes in the summer rather than Jan, but I'm pretty certain this is his last year at Spurs. They've failed to win anything with him and he's pushing 30 so realistically if he wants a couple of trophies to show for his career he probably has to go.

He should have gone 2 years ago. I understand if trophies aren't the be all and end all, or to double your wage packet, and you want to spend your career at one club - but I don't think that's Kane.

No point getting to the final and losing to these fuckers again. Might as well get it done early.

If Klopp/the board want to win, we'll buy a competent RB in Jan and a midfielder who can mix it with the best.

Come February we’ll be the most inform team in Europe Bellingham and the boys will smash em..
Said no one ever

City have to be favourites to win it now - that draw helps them greatly as 2 teams with the potential to knock ‘em won’t make it through.

We are due a win against RM though… but not the best draw for us.

Some very beatable teams in the quarters.

Madrid were the side I wanted the least.

Losing the CL final against them absolutely floored this teams confidence.

The odds for City winning it dropped immediately after our and Bayern/PSG draw. Two big clubs will be out of the last 8.

Probably not the draw we wanted/needed but there is an upside no matter what happens : either we get the RM monkey off our backs or we have a much easier time rolling into the Top 4 and winning the FAC and LC along the way.
