Can we find the Lavia?

Lavia is 9 months older than Bajcetic. As a comparison Lavia has played 2230 minutes in the premier league and Bajcetic 529.

Right....

Not sure where you're getting at exactly with this.

How many minutes did Lavia play in the league compared to Baj at the same age?

I really do think if we stick to developing Baj, he may surprise many to the point where Lavia becomes distinctly forgotten about pretty quickly.

Baj for me is more a willing runner and a slightly more creative force than a defensive one. He may have the perfect protocol droid frame for a 6, but i just don't think that will utilise all his strengths.

Badger Tits was good enough and strong enough to dominate the midfield in the opportunities he got.

He's only going to get better.

He's also 8 inches taller and 8kg heavier than Kante already.

Really?

Even though he's played as a CB for the most part of his life?

I see him as a Matic type player albeit with a bit more pace.

He looks good to me. I share the doubts around Bajcetic's athleticism. This guy is a Laviathan by comparison.

I think the focus on the price is stupid. We're doing a big rebuild and have done very well so far in terms of fees. If the third signing is a little more expensive then who the fuck cares. The real question is whether there's anyone more suitable on the market.

He dominated but it was more i nthe LCM position where he could drift forwards and had space for a pass. At DM i have my worries.

Low centre of gravity in kante made him what he was, as well as a tireless work ethic.

I dunno, i just don't think he'll work as a 6

Carra player Striker til a certain age, and that cunt couldn't' hit a target for love nor money.

Badger has a low centre of gravity too.

I don't know if he'll end up at DM in a few years, but he's already exceptional at it. He's played CB or DM throughout his youth.

It's his intelligence and reading of the game that stands out most for me.
I think he's quite exceptional.

I wouldn't care if we were looking at another young DM for 10m that would compete with Stef.

30 to 40m just seems dumb.

I'd much rather put that towards Thuram if we had to, or sign a RB.

All fair. I agree Baj will end up being great for us, so minimising roadblocks would be ideal. Lavia i'm not sold on, but we do need a DM. I do think if it's Lavia or Thuram, i'm all about Thuram

Yes, we're doing a big rebuild on a limited budget and as such need to make our money count.

We haven't "done well" with transfer fees thus far just to enable us to spunk it up the wall unnecessarily.

Price is also a major factor when determining suitability.

Badger Tits has the respect of the squad already, Klopp loves him, and he seems to have a fantastic character and humility about him.

Still a teenager. Fuck me, I've just convinced myself he's my new favourite player.

Fuck Lavia, I'm a tit man all day.

Big picture, lad, that's what you need to remember.

£10-15m here or there over a 12 year career is buttons. IF he's the right player. Hence, that's the key question.

Yes the team hasn't invested well in the midfield section for a long time, but the DM has been the most neglected part of the midfield. I wouldn't mind having both Lavia and Bajcetic in that position and let them work together. Once Fabinho is off we will still be covered for the next 10 years. If Lavia is above £30m, lets look somewhere else.

Ok I don't know which post to reply to, but here's one important factor everyone seems to be neglecting. Bajetic is 18 years old.

His dad played at the highest level, so he's of good stock, so to speak.

Also, the kid started off as a defender and was moved up to midfield. So defending comes natural to him. Also the kid is fucking tall, he'll gain some muscle too in the future.

So yeah, he might not be the finished article next season, but the potential is there.

Woooaaaah woah woah ok hold up here.

Easy tiger.

Favourite u21 player at the club sure but let's show some love for Lucho and El Nunezito baby....not to mention our new boys Big Sexy Dom Szobo and Alexi Mac.

None of those come even close.

Sorry Curtis lad. The Badger is #1 now.

When Badger learns to control himself a bit better like trying to take on the cream of RM players and losing the ball up the pitch, then he might make it to Number 1 spot, but I fear Real Madrid will come calling for Curtis.
