Ah well our Brighton Loyalty card has nearly as many pts as our Southampton Loyalty card.
and the away fans can now sing are you Brighton in disguise?

What a fucking signing. Our midfield sorted for a decade.
Fee is to much but fuck that. Just pay it. The club did and suddenly we look like a monster team.

New midfield. Fuck yes.

If we complete this morning we'll probably put an offer in of 2 mill plus our Southampton Loyalty card stamps for Lavia after lunch.

The last time people thought we made a good purchase but massively overpaid was Virgil, the 75m we paid for him is at least 100m in today's market. This could be one of our statement buys that we don't make very often.

A CB would be great too, but we're pretty well stocked everywhere else now, so we'll make do with one weak point.

Does anyone think there’s even a glimmer, presuming this gets done today, that he lines up on Sunday or comes off the bench?

only thing making that possible is that he knows Alexis so well. I think we’ll see him in the directors box at the bridge, he’ll be a sub for Bournemouth and start against Newcastle

A monster team we have not fucking signed up yet... ffs...

I'll be glad to be wrong if this works out. I wonder if behind the scenes Jurgen kicked up a fuss about FSG being penny pinching. I hope so.

Why do people have to assume (and hope) that FSG and Klopp are fighting? I doubt we suddenly entered the race for Caicedo at the last minute— rather we must have been on this case for some time. Monitoring.

Bu the way, our wage bill has also been massively reduced. Financially, revenue streams from the expanded stadium will rise to be although tempered with no Champions League revenue.

I'll give the club more credit than that, and believe that we dragged it out with Lavia as we got the feeling that Chelsea and Brighton couldnt agree a deal.
We have a great relationship with Brighton and they would probably prefer to do a deal with us.

Once it was clear that he would come we made an offer that blew the competition out of the water. All in all, a good job done for the player we really needed.
