This changes nothing - absolutely nothing. I don't understand why they even moved away from their original strategy, the FSG outers are not interested in us competing for the very top players, just buy the necessary players that Klopp needs - even if he don't think he needs them. We would not have needed a complete re-build if contracts were not given out left right and center to aging players and covering for players that were always fucking injured. Don't do shit like sell Lovren and not get another defender in, sell Gini and not get another midfielder in who can play as many games as he could.
