BYE BYE ROY!!!!!

It's like being managed by a fucking cup of tea.
that is cold and milky with no sugar...

To me Roy Hodgson seems casual and indifferent. He doesn't seem to grasp that better is expected. His every utterance now seems 'don't blame me for the players performances'. I can't see how he expects to manage this group of players or what his objectives are. The team are adrift. On his appointment he said he thought his main aim was to better last years results and to give him 10 games before judging him. He's had 15, we're getting worse. Go.

Reporters asked Hodgson if he felt as though today's defeat could be classed as a missed opportunity to build on the surge of optimism following the sale to NESV on Friday.

He replied: "Yes, of course I feel that. This would have been the ideal opportunity to turn things around on the back of the entry of the new owners and the way that has been received by everyone. To get a result here and win the game would have been utopia.

"But I can only analyse the performance and there is no point in attempting to analyse dreams. The dream was we would come here on the back of new owners and win the game, but we had to play a game of football."

Hodgson could be saying some of these things to deflect criticism of the players onto himself.
In that, at least, he has been successful.

WTF does that even mean?

I love the fact that he's statesmenlike and steadying the sinking ship and bringing dignity back and not overcomplicating things cos football's a simple game.

Just had a text saying that Ian Ayre was in the Twelfth Man after the game & said they'd been instructed to show Roy the door.

christ, he's beginning to sound dangerously unhinged.

is anyone else starting to think that he's already given up? i think he knows he can't turn it around and is just waiting for his pay-off; no self-respecting manager would talk openly about the possibility of being dismissed, and what compensation he'd be due, let alone come out with this kind of horseshit.

just fucking go.

How reliable do you think the source is FFF?
He wouldn't be on a windup would he?

The lad that sent it to me is serious but he heard from someone else, so fuck knows.

I'm clinging to the hope of it being true like a tabletop alongside the Titantic.

A sign of the times, but despite the typo I still misread that as relegation 😉

8 League games 1 Win.

That was a 1-0 Home win against West Brom, a game we were outplayed in.
There is nothing else to say, there is nothing to wait to happen. If he had any respect for the club he'd jog the fuck on.

So we're better than Man Utd 😉

That rumour is on RAWK as well. They also sent a link to Henry on Twitter which showed a poll entitled "Should we sack Hodgson"

It's not like we have to pray and hope; he's a shit useless cunt of a manager and he'll be sacked shortly
thats why i was willing to lose to blackpool, because after that was imo the most likely time to fire him, if we were going to do it he should have gone after that bullcunt result.

i have lost all hope of him being fired now. if that fucking cunt roy can live through blackpool, you might as well put the old fucking retard in the same bracket as lucas

I do feel genuinely sorry for Roy. He's a nice man who's out of his depth and whose players are letting him down badly. He isnt doing himself any favours but he isnt a BAD man and i hope his luck turns soon wherever he goes.
Ok, the lad who told him is a red, season ticket holder & is adamant it's not BS.
Well after todays performance, where we find ourselves in the league table and the fact that we have new ruthless owners who want to be winners, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if it is true.
Starts praying to Robbie again.
