It's a long term project but there have been a worrying amount of performances like this since Klopp took over.

The clyne error totally set the tone for the match and we did little to change that.
This game was crying out for milner and can in the middle
Set pieces were garbage and there was very little movement beyond 30 yards out hence why Klopp set coutinho to spunk load mode but yeah burnley will do that to plenty of other top sides this season , or at least they better fucking do.

Mane, Karius and 2 CB's are the wrong positions? We lack 2 players. A left back and a holding midfielder.
Hyperbole.. and you accuse me at times of overreacting... A player like Mane was desperately needed, bringing much needed trickery and pace.. he was missed today.. We desperately needed new defenders too and a new keeper.. I don't see how he has actually bought wrong tbh..

Shit defence and an inability to break down shit teams who defend. I don't see the comparison.
I hate this tippy tappy shit we play when were up against a team who get everyone behind the ball. The passing is too slow, safe and predictable. Everytime you know it's going to end up with one of the full backs crossing it to our one striker as all the midfielders stand on the edge of the box for some reason.
Then we're reduced to hopeless long shots that are either blocked or sail over the bar.
But one long punt up the pitch by the opposition and the defenders shit their collective kecks. It been the same for the last twenty fucking years and i'm sick of it.

Well, it was probably the most Rodgers-esque performance under Klopp that I can remember. All the greatest hits – 70%+ possession, conceding from every opponent's attack, desperate shots from long range, unable to change a plan mid-game. Really bewildering and bad.
I also want to say thanks to Chelsea, Spurs and United for making sure I will not turn on my TV this weekend or watch any review shows. I'll save lots of time!
Dyche is the new Allardyce. The Allardyche. He set them up very well. It's an atrocious way to play football on a regular basis, but it was a performance that would have frustrated many teams.
But we were so stupid. Too often we play with no game intelligence. A defender has already stepped in front of our player so we aim a pass at him? Where's the sense in that?? Their defenders show they can deal with crosses into the box all day long, so we keep crossing into the box. Just illogical. The thing is, in those situations, you havr to think. We don't think. We just continue in robotic fashion.
We can beat that system of play, but only by being patient and varying the play.
