Phil Brown believes that Hull City can achieve European qualification in the 'near future'.
The Tigers' debut campaign in England's top flight started promisingly, only for the side to suffer a detrimental drop in form during the second half of the term.
But Brown's side ultimately preserved their Premier League status on the final day of the season as Newcastle United lost 1-0 at Aston Villa.
Brown is now targeting fresh recruits to his team this summer and has revealed his aims for the future at the KC Stadium.
"A European place would be the ultimate aim, either through winning a trophy or by way of standing in the Premier League," said Brown in Singapore's Straits Times.
"How long that would take, I've got my personal ambitions. All I can say is that it will be in the near future."
Brown, who was in Singapore as a guest of the British High Commission, added: "We're looking at proven Premier League players, players with history in the Premier League.
"There is money available and there's a lot of work to be done in attack and defence. Hopefully, the improvements will come in both penalty boxes."
*prays for Hull to get relegated next season*
I read a really good article about his singing antics on the last day of the season - anyone recall something like that? I want to forward it to someone.
