Yeah, he'd have been criticised if he had changed the side. It's just logical to select the same XI and see if they can get some form going. And at least there's no Pucas. And Meireles is being played in his best position.
It's not a great team. Away from home especially, I think Cole and Maxi are too similar and not strong or fast enough to get into games that we're not dominating, and they also don't score enough goals. We'll look stronger when Magic and Kuyt are back, and stronger again when we buy some decent players. But for the moment, like it or not, that's close to being our best team.

He's hit and miss and he started badly, he's not really a goalscorer, he did used to play just off the striker but now he's played as the striker alongside a centre forward (Davies), technically though he's very good and pretty tricky and quick.

Admittedly this was usually done when I lived near Walkabout 2 years ago when we were 'title challenging'.. but still...
