I fucking hate Hodgson. He says the right things in interviews but on match day he is totally inept. Why the fuck doesn't he make any changes?
Yep. Except for the hate bit.

We should just fire Ian Cotton. Install Roy as our official spokesperson, and bring in a proper manager who can get us a functional midfield.

And not shitcunts like Poulsen, who was seems so immobile and negative, that I was praying Meireles came on for him as opposed to Lucas.

It's unbelievable.

He talks as if he sees the problems before the game, then as soon as the game starts it's just like the bad old days.

For fuck's sake you doddering old fool, make some fucking changes

I think he has made one sub before the 75th minute in 4 league games we have played so far. I'm starting to get very negative feelings toward Roy Hodgson. It seems he would raher not do anything than get something wrong.

If somebody calls Poulsen the "Norwegian hard-man" "Norwegian Robbie Savage" i'm going to cry. He plays like a girl. I have seen couple of positive passes from him, but i'f we have to rely on him or Lucas to start a lot of games, we are in big big trouble.

it's the same old fucking shit, we make opposition average players look like world beaters because our plan is to contain rather then destroy.

Oh and I have to say Glen Johnson is turning into a 18m dud.

It was just about "A-ok" that he was shit at defending when he was actually offering us something going forward. Nowadays, we are not even seeing that. He's just plain horrible both ways.

Spidey, nobody with any clue has ever claimed that Hodgeson was a good manager
I thought he'd make the sensible, obvious decisions. But he just seems to be continuing down Rafa's deep, final-season rut.

true, but I was expecting better than this, if not with points certainly with performances...

It was ever so obvious that we'd look a better team with a more dynamic player alongside Poulsen who certainly looked mostly poor today - perhaps apart from the last ten.

It's still a new league and new team for him and I'm sure we'll see definite improvements from him over the next weeks - and it's certainly called for.

Lucas however has played one Season to many for us - at least as a starter and not as a sub - but with Meireles coming in and Gerrard more than capable of the playing the CM role he should be exactly that from this day onwards. A sub. At best.

We are lucky to escape with a draw and I'm really hopeful we're going to see some changes in personel come the next game.

Cole coming back, Agger starting (did more in his ten minutes attacking wise from the left than Jova or Maxi managed all game from their respective wide positions), Kuyt getting back to fitness, Babel given a go and Pacheco beeing eased in as well as Meireles starting.

I'm really fed up with us having a far to defensive approach and would've hoped for Roy to be a bit more adventureous.

Reina was MOTM by a hundred miles ahead of a decent first cameo for Paul Kon. Torres however is sitting well deep in the opposite end of that scala alongside every midfielder outthere and the two CBs.

Thank God we had people like Broughton and fucking Purssslow making the important decisions about who should manage Liverpool

They know what they're doing all right

Poulsen is not Norwegian.
Aye...Danish. I'm just overwhelmed with hate right now.

Johnson was prodigiously retarded. It was bordering on entertainment.
I honestly couldnt believe how bad he was. Fucking appalling is putting it mildly.

I wouldnt pay 1.8m for him based on that performance.

Avoiding spineless displays like that was one reason why I wanted Kenny to get the job pending new owners coming in. I'd have backed him to have them too fired up to play like they did today.

Anyone else worried about Meireles playing behind the striker, especially with Cole being signed to play behind the striker. Thank fuck Roy filled all those "gaps" in the team, because signing two player to play the same position and neglecting all the weak areas of the team would be stupid.

That was the plan probably, Meireles for Lucas and Poulsen for Mascher.

Unfortunately Poulsen is as shit as Lucas.

Maxi is shit, I've been saying it since the Fulham game last season.

Roy is coming across as a deluded old
man in his post match interview, what's he blathering on about?!

Positives:
* Gerrard really worked hard as captain and was almost the difference
* Meirles looks like a probable bright spot looked good
* Paul Konchesky did well
* we were much more interested in going forward in the second half..
* Not many clubs come away with points from McLeish's Brum
* Pepe was immense...
* Carragher did well, in what I saw.
* Cole is coming back...
* We seemed to realize in the second half that we're Liverpool FC

Negatives
* No-one in the box
* Little creativity
* Hodgson seems out of depth, STRUGGLED to impose his imprint on the game
* I think Poulsen needs a few more games before we consign him to the Lucas bin, but not looking good.
* I can't see our marquee players hanging around for a season of this kind of performance

Right now, I don't get why Roy came in ahead of Kenny. He needs to start going for it.

He was bad today but he's put in some good performances of late. Today certainly wasn't a trend for him.
