So who do think was the best based on who you have seen live on tv (not just match of the 70's or dvd's etc)

I'd be surprised if anyone goes for Aldridge and Kenny! That can only have happened a handful of times.

Question, where's Beardsley-Aldridge?

I remember a crossover period where we had Rush and Aldridge. It didn't last long, but I remember it being awesome. I'm too young to remember Tosh - Keegan or Hunt - St. John.

Anyway, Rushie and Kenny for me.

Age tinting your bifocals I'm sure! Toshack/Keegan was a very good partnership and, for me, probably rank second.

The Beardsley/Aldridge partnership, while it does not come close to Rush/Kenny, was the attacking focus of probably the most creative and dominating Liverpool team ever, even if it was just for a short while. It was really a trimvirate though, as John Barnes was so much a part of that strikeforce.
