It's on twitter. Mainly people saying that other people are saying that we've made a shock 30m bid.
I think it's probably what people would call a 'cheeky' bid, considering they've lost two of their best players in the last week and lost 8-2 today.

It might. With him on one wing and Downing on the other, Carroll and co.in the middle could really clean up. He and Downing know each other from Middlesboro days too, so they should find it easy to switch wings and twist opposition defences inside out.
