I asked Modo to change the record, within two posts he reverted to type and went all Modo on me but 'reap what you sow right'? So, I have to take the blame for Modo's childish posting? Don't agree with that MM.
Take last season out of it, and you have to admit spending £20M on Louvren and £25M on Lallana is looking pretty poor right now.

local is a huuuuuge Rafa fan. He is right, Rafa is not the point of this thread. His thread was asking for patience and support for the current manager.
I am not so much Pro Rafa tbh.. I just think if all goes wrong he is an option.. I don't understand why Rafa get so much stick on here tbh..
Going back to my previous post.. If Rodgers doesn't turn things around soon, I think D-day will be the 14th December.... Lose that he is a gonna.. Win it he might just save his job..

Nah, that's not what I mean. I responded to Fabio saying Modo was the reason that we were talking about Rafa in this thread. The fact is, Modo didn't bring up Rafa, Mark did, and what followed was hardly surprising. Hence, you reap what you sow.

I don't think we are at the "at any cost" stage yet. He's already proven himself, and now he just has a bad patch to get through. I just don't think you cast a manager aside, a few months after singing his name from the rooftops. Especially after him signing all those new players.
Yes you can.. when results are at stake and he continues not to learn from his mistakes and showing no signs of rectifying them.. He has not proven himself at all..
A sign of good manager is how you overcome a bad patch..
Last season cannot be used as a benchmark.. it just blinded nonsense to think that, when the underlying issue we have had since Rodgers reign began has yet to be rectified.. Then there is of course his record in the transfer market.
How long do you want to wait for the new signings to bed in.. ?? In modern day football, with the finances that are involved time is not on your side..
The fact these new signings are not Bedding in, with some it is probably more to do with his coaching methods than the player themselves.. These players didn't suddenly become shite overnight..

I am not applying this to all the players we bought I am applying it more to the defensive side of our game.. Rodgers has some key attributes in regards his coaching style.. He plays attacking football how you like to see it played.. I cannot fault him for that...

You are right he needs to learn, and I am hopeful he will. But I disagree on the need for him to go. He's proven he's a good manager, he's got to be given time to bed in new signings, replace suarez with a decent striker, and shown some loyalty. We are not like any other club. We don't sack good managers based on a month or two of a bad patch. Sure even Newcastle have persisted with Pardew.
I suggest you deploy that age old tactic regarding the manager: patience.
