AS: Agger is central figure in Barca's plans

The radio this morning is reporting that Barca have renewed their interest in signing David Luiz. Just saying.
 
A good friend of mine that loves Barca told me this morning that it was all over the Spanish press and then I thought I'd share the info. Yeah it should have probably gone in a general Liverpool transfer rumor thread but as such thing no longer exists here I could either start a new thread or keep my mouth shut.

I obviously picked the wrong choice out of the two.

This place sometimes is so much fun.

All these potential deals for players like Agger and Suarez etc, for me, basically come down to whether them leaving is going to make a really significant difference to our chances of getting CL next season. In isolation the case is clear: we'd be mad not to take £15m+ for him. But the problem is that for years now our situation has left us with two clear but risky *and* absolutely incompatible strategies for getting back to where we were: building via CL money or via long term development. And what's worse is we seem to have been caught between the two and got nowhere.

Fair does. I have started 4 this year alone, in my defense I would've made two of these a regular post in a rumor thread if one was allowed.

I am really not here to piss Mark or Oncy or anyone else off, and I get equally surprised every time I end up in a new shitestorm like this one.

I am probably slightly stupid.

Not our entire back line (which would include FBs) just our two CBs who don't exactly work brilliantly together anyway. Papa & Kolo plus A.N. Other good CB with a good part of the 20M+ Agger dosh ? Looks OK on paper and certainly not weaker than Agger+Skrtel.

Fuck em. They're like those assholes on the pitch who yell at you for trying an adventurous pass instead of passing if 5 yards back to them. Then they get the ball and proceed to knock it 40 yards out of bounds over someones head. You're one of the legends on this site.
