Mascherano & Gerrard will obviously start.
This leaves him competing with Lucas. Lucas offers more defensively, keeps the ball better, and generally plays well against good sides. We look a lot more solid with Lucas in the side than Aquilani, not to mention the former's excellent ability to break up oppositon play being something that might just come in handy against Arsenal.
I'm not denigrating Aquilani's ability, cos he's got plenty. But for this game, Lucas is the better option.

He has, however, picked up 2 assists already so it's not all doom and gloom.
