spider neil is right, you can't draw too much conclusion from youngsters. some look better than others but you just can't be definitive, also spider is right in that Rafa's opinion is what matters, he see's them every day in training and has been a coach and manager for 20+ years, what the fuck qualifies you?

Great to have Agger back ready for the new Season. He'll give us more options in attack and he looked assured on the left too.
Ngog looked extremely confident today - showed a lot of nice touches and great vision. He's got loads of potential really - almost Ronaldinho-esque in his touch and turns at times.
Voronin will probably be a pleasant surprise now and then. Will not obtain a starting-place but we could do worse from the bench.
Masher looked like he's missed football as much as we have. He was constantly closing opponents down and throwing himself in to the action. Even spiced up his performance with a brilliant little outside-chip of the foot setting Ngog free.
Babel. Not his best Pre-Season game, missed a few to many easy touches but certainly still looks stronger than yesterday.

my post was aimed at myself, I've noticed over the years I seem to be deriving more pleasure from seeing fringe players do well than most first team members. when I was a kid I used to all about the stars (barnes in perticular) but as I've gotten older I'm more drawn to the underdog.
