Got to agree, the first goal was a clean simple goal exectuted brilliantly, and the second header, probably difficult was made to look effortless. The lad has some great positional sense. I did not see the rest of the game so cannot comment on the rest. Although kuyt looked immensely industrious and played with some real cracking vision in the goal compilation, he is one of the most unselfish players i have seen for a while!!!

If Rafa doesnt at least attempt to integrate him this season he is mad. He is clearly too good for the reserves, every time ive watched him at reserve level he looks far too comfy, great goal record for us too. Surely at least league cup games!

To be fair I think he would of last season were it not for injuries. A shame because it's given N'Gog the advantage whereas Nemeth could be an ace up our sleeve.

But he seems to have the guille and positional sense similar to as someone pointed out as did robbie in latter years at least. The speed he does not have could more than easily be managed by positional sense!!

Fowler was never blessed with great pace either ... It's a great quality to have, but if his finishing is 'that' good, then hopefully that will allow him to be a contributor to this squad.

Hopefully, he's integrated more into the first team squad (being on the bench more, or a sub appearance in a 3-0 game etc)
