He was hammered by his own fans last season.
So was fucking Adrian, difference is butland hasn't lost the confidence of our defendersHe was hammered by his own fans last season.
Doesn't mean he's not better than Adrian.Butland is warming the Stoke bench this season, and cant even get into their team.

I'd rather keep Adrian than have ButlandStraight up, Jack butland from Stoke
I'd be fascinated to find out how a keeper tries to improve the thinking side of his game. We all know that Adrian can spend ages, if he wants to, kicking the ball until it stops going out of touch - there's an obvious way to work on some technical deficiencies - but what he needs to work on most are his terrible errors of judgement. Those are the things that have to be put right before he's going to be even remotely reliable.
He's currently as bad as Karius in terms of his incomprehensible tendency to bowl or pass the ball straight out to an opponent. That's what loses us games. That's what bombed us out of a CL competition that we should have gone on to win. He really does ruin our games.
Do they sit down with him, play such errors back and ask him what the hell he was thinking? There's sadly quite a few examples from which to choose. But that's surely the only hope for him - he just HAS to cut out the appalling decisions during games. And I'm not sure if that's even slightly possible.
I laughed and cried at the same time, say it ain't so!Indeed. He stuck with Lovren for several years of disasters, Adrian will be here until the bitter end of all things.
No one wants to buy karius, that's why. He's loaned the cunt out repeatedly, and 1 team wanted to send him back.
Klavan and Solanke are the only two I think.Im struggling to think of a single player Klopp has signed that he has moved on in his time here. There might be a fringe or youth player hes signed that moved on but I cant think of any.

Though to be fair, that's because he's mostly bought really well.

Maybe Ming can teach him that special trick where you ponder over a rolling ball for an age trying to make your mind up what to do with it, until eventually you let it roll slowly over the line for a cornerMing used to be pretty shit at kicking, he always used to belt it to nowhere or out for a throw inviting pressure back for us. But since then we have gotten so much better at winning the ball back.
Maybe the coaches should just ask Adrian to do the same instead of trying to be too clever. It's obviously not his game. Just go the usual route one kick downfield, tide through this period where the pressure is hot till AB comes back.
What surprises me about Adrian being shite under press pressure is that he gets to practice against Mo/Bobby/Mane daily (arguably the best in the business) so he has time to learn how to cope, find ways that work for him and generally be quick of thought about what to do. It's not like he's in an environment where the only pressing he ever comes up against is in games. Bizarre.
Or maybe he knows something we don't 😉That's an inventive way to get your contract cancelled.
He scored a lovely header against Barca in a friendly. Let's not forget that too.I don't get the amusement. It's a pathetic thing to do, and it hardly helps the confidence of a keeper who will need to get into a better frame of mind to play Everton. The only contribution Grujic has made in about four years here is to mock a teammate. Ho ho indeed.
I hope he knows more than we do and is right.
