Agger; I'm still not there

Just thought I'd share a few comments from an Agger interview in the Danish press today.

- I'm still working on a special back-treatement program these days, something that will strengthen me, but it's not something that is taking time from the general training however - it's something extra I'm working with. I can't really say that I'm protecting myself and I'm attending every training with the other guys as well.

- I've been playing a lot of matches and it's getting better and better for every game. I'm starting to find the rhythm I've been missing because of the injuries, something that's very important when you're playing at highest level.

- Am I at the top of my game? No, I wouldn't say, Agger told the newspaper B.T.

Rather good news after all, at least he's been playing regularly for quite some time now without any apparent setbacks.

To me he has been just a shadow of his previous form... Hopefully he will show what he is capable of sooner rather than later!

Appart from his last two or three games (and the United one) I tend to agree.

Hopefully he'll soon find his feet and come back to his very best. It's about time.

I am annoyed that the defence as a unit keeps Reina so busy. Its not just that we have let in far to many this season, some of the chances missed by opponents have been unbelievable as well.... Big strong defenders should be able to clear more of the crosses comming in. An inform Agger will be very helpful there.
