Rooney's a lazy bastard in that clip. Just in the first 50 seconds of the clip alone, you could see how he didn't bother to move for a pass from Lallana, and on another occasion, how he didn't make a diagonal run when he should've, which would've either resulted in an opportunity for a sliding pass from Lallana, or pulled a defender away from Sturridge instead of allowing the opponent to sink back to help guard against Sturridge.

Which is £5m more than he is worth, not to mention the Lambert related discount which (to Ian Ayre's great surprise) did not materialise.

£20m was my limit. But to southampton they are losing the heart of their team. Southampton fans look at lallana the same way we look at gerrard. So yes there is a premium that is going to be paid unfortunately.

Is agree that 25 is high. And I can't see many clubs paying that. But he seems to be the sort of player that w I understand really fit into out way of play quickly. One that is used to the prem too. I think we've done well if this deal goes ahead, we offered our take it or leave it price yes it's a little overpriced but we will be getting a fantastic player if it's completed.
