Three games in and we're seeing a bit of a trend emerging - we're not very good in the second half of games.

So what is it (apart from depressing)? Tiredness? Complacency? Lack of killer instinct?

All of e things you said

Think our fitness is poor for the pressing game Rodgers wants us to play, we don't have enough players with heart (I didn't rate him half at much add others, but fuck we could do with kuyt in his prime).

Fitness imo, even Henderson looked ruined against Villa. Tiredness then movement stops so we struggle to keep a hold of the ball, start sitting back and put ourselves under pressure.

Is it the way we press?

We seem to have players running around like madmen trying to win the ball back, which does seem draining. If we're intent on pressing hard, wouldn't we be better off pushing up a bit higher and hunting in packs giving us a much better chance of actually winning the ball back quickly?

I think our possession football is a bit misleading. At the end of the game (or during) we're always shown that we out-possessed our opponents by a wide margin, but we're not looking at where we actually possess the ball.

I'm willing to bet that a large number of percentage attributes to us keeping the ball in our own half. A lot of teams countered this by half possession, which wouldn't be as tiring and could hit quickly on the counter. Mostly in the second half, our opponents had thoroughly learned what our movements are like on the first half, so they adapted and were able to dispossess us quickly.

I think...

Yeah this playing great stuff first half and shit stuff second half thing really needs to stop.

If we could just take half our chances in most games, the second half would be so easy considering we'd be 4 or 5 nil up.
But whether it's the post, cross-bar, shite finishing or goal keepers having man of the match displays, we haven't been able to do that and it ends up hurting us.

I doubt Rodgers will change his tactics, and I'm happy with it, but our attackers (and the rest when it comes to set pieces) simply need to do better at scoring. Apart from the Villa game we're creating so many chances. STOP WASTING THEM!!!
