The reality is we had no cover for that first XI after the City game. We took Henderson and Sturridge out and were fucked.

I was in a really bad mood earlier on. I have to confess to turning the game off fairly early on because I just couldn't watch it any more. I've gotten over it now though - I feel relieved it's finally done. After the Chelsea game we all kinda knew it was done but still stupidly kept on hoping, as you do, and that shit takes it's toll.
