I was made up we done the cup double but to win the UEFA cup was the icing on the cake

And we won all those cups the hard way too, winning the League Cup on penalties against the Brummies, beating Alaves with a golden goal, and spotting Arsenal a 1-0 lead for the whole game before the Owen double that inspired a song. Great times!

Watching the Carling Cup final clip again... Fowler's cracking goal and that excellent cheeky penalty in a penalty shootout just about sums him up. What a brilliant, brilliant player.

Yeah it was Fowler. Then he came in and scored what should've been the winning goal, until Cruyff scored the late equalizer and delayed our crowning.

The cake was winning three trophies. The icing on the cake was spanking Charlton on the last day 4-0 to get into the Champions League. The whole season was amazing.

Sunderland in '92 was a fucking cake walk. Only Cup final I've ever been at where I was not worried about the opposition for the whole 90 minutes.
