Youth / Reserve Team Thread... 2010 - 2013

2-0, Ibe again, a BRILLIANT run half the length of the pitch, sheer speed, then a couple of feints in the box and a great diagonal shot to score. Sinclair probably has a bit more wit about him, but my goodness Ibe is fast and positive. Excellent prospect.

Another good run, this time by Sinclair, ended up being a bit greedy and lost the ball instead of passing to Trickett-Smith. Half Time 2-0.

Leeds may well get a bit of a spanking if they carry on the way they finished that half, every break against them looked like it could end in a goal.

Ibe is a great prospect. Will probably be involved with the first team during pre season.
Hunter said Rodgers was a huge fan if I heard that correctly.

Ibe has just got better and better and better since a slightly underwhelming start at the club, now every bit as exciting as Sterling was this time last year.

If McLaughlin is Modo's man, Ibe's mine.

Macca is proper fickle.
The plaster of paris has barely set on poor Pelosi's leg and Macca is making eyes at Trickett-smith.

Hes the Steven Gerrard of our youth viewings.

Being as REAAALY we could count Suso, Sterling and Wisdom weve got fucking loads to chose from.
I like N'goo because he looks like a plasterer rather than a footballer.
But hes got unbel tek.

Dunn was great. Very unselfish from fellow Swede Petersson there.
Not the best performance in the 2nd half though.
Hull away next in the cup.

Ibe looks like a star in the making. Rossiter is the closest thing I've seen with that Stevie G spark coming through. Not Sinclair's best night but he'll be right. I'd love Dunn to make it. He's such a proper wee scouse scally, he'd be loved like Fowler. He's also a talented lad with a wicked left foot.

Not the best performance in truth, but worth remembering that all the players bar Dunn, Lussey, and Baio were playing at least a year ahead of u18 level: they'll all still be eligible for this competition again next year.
