Is it a coincidence that everyone you mentioned are either midfielders or strikers?Do you not think this obsession of yours with McLaughlin is getting a bit out of hand?
It's not even as if he's the best young player on the books. Just in this team tonight, Sinclair, Ibe, Rossiter, Dunn, Trickett-Smith, Ojo are all similar or better calibre talents.
and the fact is?It's not like Modo to bang a drum regardleas of fact...
*nods*Ibe is the shizness. I can totally see the McLaughlin thing too, at times it seems like he could step into the first team and never look back.

Anyway, is Sterling still eligible to play in the youth cup, I mean he's still only 18 years old?
OK so how many of those you mentioned got to travel with the team to America and start against Roma? No, it's not a coincidence. I deliberately chose them because IMO centre halves are notoriously difficult to judge in terms of progress to the first team, but if pushed I'd say that on the evidence so far Jones and Brewitt could also be added to that list.
Sterling is definitely still eligible: he's younger than a few of those players in the line up.

Yeah I'm drumming.
