Erm...Wisdom, Suso, Sterling, Robbo, Shelvey.....the future is here. It's a good crop of youngsters we have, future looks bright.
Wilson, Ibe, Lussey and Sinclair I have high hopes for, but the talent at the Acadamy is fantastic these days.
The future looks bright.
Sheesh...someone's got sand in his vagina. Why don't you fuck off.
Did Dunn play? How did he do? When I first saw him, I thought that he was like the closest thing to Gerrard in the Academy / Reserve ranks. Is he improving or has he stagnated or been injured? As you didn't mention him, I was wondering whether his prospects/form have taken a dip.
Lussey with a great goal, he's had a very good game.
2-0
Lovely finish from Trickett-Smith for the U18's. The lads are playing well.
1-0 v Middlesbrough
His range of passing is very good, too soon to say he'll make it though.
Sinclair scored the third before half-time.
3-0
I've just seen the lineup... it's not exactly the most exciting side in the world. Of the 11, Gulacsi, Sokolik, Wilson, Roddan, Ngoo, Adorjan and Pacheco all have more or less negligible chances of making it to the first team, and you wouldn't exactly call Sama, Coady, or Morgan the most scintillating of young talents either, even if they are a cut above the others.
Can't help but think some of the lads from the 18s (particularly Lussey and Baio) and Ibe should be starting, and some of these older, less promising, players loaned out.
*cough* back-heelPatches in the reserves this eve against Boro and thus far showing why he hasn't broken into the first team
*cough* back-heel
Neil Mellor's improving all the time as a pundit. It's great he's still such a fan of the club.
Yeah, did well. he'll be in the first team in no time!
