It's wronger than sleeping with your sister. Or it is close anyway. I was trying to get behind England but it is so fucking tough. I made peace with the fact today that I just can't support England. And Southgate must have fucked a goat whilst sacrificing a nun to Lucifer before this tournament to get this draw.
Southgate picked a team that didn't rely on reputations and experience.
Some of the early exits are a result of teams doing the opposite.
I thought as far as a ‘team’ performance goes that was right up there.
No one shone but the team were brilliantly drilled and controlled the whole game.

It's in your DNA to hate the English. I've had the fortune to know many Scots and Irish and for the most part they all hate English sport. And also for the most part, that hate is never reciprocated. I'll always support all the Celtic nations.
I've also had the pleasure to have lived in Aus and NZ. And, if you wanted to, you could find a lot of reasons to hate their sporting teams. It's all confirmation bias for me.
You're wrong. I hate the way in which the media represent English footy (and Rugby too). I support the English cricket team and always have, so it isn't a simple hatred for England or the English. I hate the way they are covered in media, I hate the thuggish support, I hate that 'Motty' managed to squeeze a 1966 reference into EVERY English commentary. I love a lot of English people, and I do not hate the English. I hate the England footy and to a lesser extent Rugby teams.
Fair enough. I hear your justifications from pretty much all Celts, though. I personally think it goes a bit deeper than the media and a few idiotic fans (massive minority of the support is 'thuggish'). But, whichever. I'm pleased you've made peace either way.
Can I just add, that I can see your point regarding the media. It's a bit of a cringefest .
I did mean the thuggish 'element' of the support, but it is strange that the Scots and both Irish teams manage to go abroad without looking like horrible cunts everywhere they go. And thank you for acknowledging the media coverage is fucking horrendous. Remember when the 19 year old Andy Murray was vilified for a throwaway banterish remark when England were playing in a tournament (he was ACTUALLY texting good luck messages to David Beckham throughout the tournament). He was torn apart, and from that point adopted his monotonal attitude to the English media. As I say, I can make peace with my position because I know it isn't anti-Englishness. You can't get more English than the England cricket team, can you? And I love that team. It is on my bucket list to see England on a tour match in the Caribbean or Australia. So yeah, fuck your insinuations Ollie, I'm fucking Zen with it man.
Don't agree with insulting Liverpool players. Lovren has occasional brain fades, but in general he is a talented CB.
