Iturbe has been horrendous for Roma but will be intereting to see how he performs for them.
If he's good he'll end up somewhere else

The twitter crowd saying we approached barca some days ago and talks with the player happening now.

I'd be amazed personally..

I was simply arguing that a move to europe wouldn't be to get his 'first big pay cheque', considering what he earns, and have earned at Milan. Basically that he's completely incomparable to Berahino.

Milan are stingy buggers. That goes for most of the Italian clubs. Coutinho wasn't earning that much before he came to us. So too was that shite Italian left back we bought. Their payscale are much lower than the big teams in the BPL.

I'd burn half the players in the squad in a sacrificial ceremony to get Isco but I reckon there would be a few clubs ahead of us in the queue.

As for Ter Stegen, I don't get what the hype is about based on his displays for Barca. Admittedly I've seen very very little of him in his time at Germany but he looks small, nervous and indecisive.

I'd agree about Stegen.
He's not a commanding keeper at all but maybe it's because he's so young and hasn't filled out.
I remember people comparing him to Neuer a few years back but to me he's the polar opposite.

Klopp on BBC has again reiterated that he doesn't want to sign anyone in January. He wants to work with what he has got.

You say "reiterated" but those recent headlines really didn't reflect what he said at the time, which was that we would move into the market if we needed to, but he hadn't decided either way yet. Did you actually hear him say the above in so many words?

[article]Leicester have agreed a deal with Birmingham for winger Demarai Gray after the Premier League club activated a £3.7m release clause.

BBC Radio Leicester reports the 19-year-old had a medical on Saturday.

Gray was left out of the Blues' Championship win over Brentford, and boss Gary Rowett confirmed the player was in talks with a top-flight side.

Leicester reportedly had a bid turned down for Gray in August and he went on to sign a new deal at St Andrew's.

Bournemouth were also said to be interested in the teenager.

BBC Radio 5 live's Ian Dennis reported after Leicester's 0-0 draw with the Cherries on Saturday that it is understood Gray could be loaned back to Birmingham until the end of the season if he completes his move to the King Power Stadium.

Gray came through the Blues' youth system and has made 78 senior appearances, scoring eight goals.[/article]

I saw a couple of his interviews and he hasn't explicitly ruled out new signings but he gave plenty of reasons why he wouldn't sign like to sign anyone in January. I think he has a Wenger style mentality when it comes to signings.

[article]“We try to be prepared all the time but this window in January isn’t the easiest one,” Klopp said before Christmas. “There are big prices on the market. I’m not the biggest friend of the January window but if we have to react, I will react. Maybe if a player leaves us, I don’t know. It’s not a situation I want, though. We have a lot of games during the transfer window. We aren’t planning on getting more players and more players and more players. But if we have to react we will.”

If Klopp’s comments are not to be believed, history proves that Liverpool fans should expect little player turnover this month. In seven January transfer windows at Borussia Dortmund, Klopp signed just four players, never more than one in any given window. Two were loans until the summer. Since 2009, four of seven winter windows have passed with Liverpool conducting no business, including the last two under Rodgers.[/article]

We need signings, our bench is horrible, we hardly have anyone that can change a game.

Turkish media reporting that Fenerbache want to sign Lazar permenantly.
Would you sell in January if the fee is decent?
Think Klopp would like him back but who knows.

"More of Pesam's lower league rubbish.............................."

Rumours that Arsenal are sniffing around Accrington Stanley's Josh Windass who has shitloads of potential. Because he's out of contract in the summer he won't cost that much although there would be some negotation required due to the compenstaion rules regarding signing players under 25 from other English clubs.

Glasgow Rangers are also said to be in talks with him and Matt Crooks (also Accrington) who in my opinion is an even better prospect (also 21 and also out of contract in the summer). I would pay Accrington £1m for both and lend them to Rangers. Both these players could become excellent EPL players in time e.g. Vardy, Deeney, Ighalo, Arter, Pugh etc. and for a club like us £1m is a drop in the ocean.

Next season I would lend them to a Championship club for the first half of the season and see how they progress.................we won't do this obviously and someone else will and at least one of these 2 will go onto great things.

1M is nothing these days so we can do what Chelsea / City do and buy players just to loan them out.
