Will.I.An

Well no, but he was part of a standing army controlled by the Nazi party and as such Nazi ruled and a weapon of the Nazi administration. I think if you tried to explain to a kid how he wasnt a Nazi you would have a struggle.

I wouldn't.

He wasn't member of the NSDAP. Therefore he was no Nazi.

David Cameron is the supreme commander of UK's armed forces. Is every single soldier a tory then?

But then again it was only a film.

Oh - tbh, my knowledge of German generals etc is limited. I know about the time period etc ... Oh well, when I'm done with all the books I'm reading, maybe I'll delve into a WWII book though I try not to for fear of it pissing me off too much.

you seen the eternal jew?

decent film.

I'm glad we're not paying £30M for this guy, because the risk is too great.

If anything I'm glad to see we've got £25-30M to invest, and I'd rather it be spent on two players rather than one punt.

Andy Hunter:
Liverpool are resigned to defeat in the pursuit of Willian, which is a good job having been out-bid by Tottenham and with the Brazilian reportedly undergoing a medical in London. The Anfield club were first to move for the midfielder following news of the budget-slashing at Anzhi Makhachkala and had made good progress on a £30m deal by the weekend, albeit without taking his signature for granted having missed out on Henrik Mkhitaryan and Diego Costa. That caution was well-placed when Spurs arrived with a better offer to both Anzhi and the player. Liverpool refused to go above their initial valuation and Willian is White Hart Lane bound as a result.

So we got outbid again...

If we bid £30m and it was still not enough then I'm happy to let him go to Spurs because they are over-paying.

Well if you are being genuine or as your people say Kosher, let me know, ive got shit loads of good books and will happily offer some advice to you. My particular field of interest has always been the naval (in particular the submarine history) operations (Doenitz invented the wolfpacks...you know what that is right?) and I have a few good ones about that in particular.
A good place to start is Julian Thompson - The war at sea, and then Peter Padfield - War beneath the sea.
They are both about war. Not politics or the end game, simply how war is fought.

We wanted Mkhitaryan and Willian but got neither due to lack of CL footy and getting outbid. How can people say we should get our targets signed earlier when every man and his dog can see that we are going for those players but they dont want to join us and you cant fault the club for the timing imho.
But you can blame the club for how we act after it becomes clear that the player is available and negotiations can start.

Rodgers wants to add to the first team but he wants the right players. If they arent available or dont want to join us, should we just buy someone else that could turn into a Downing/Carroll situation or wait until we find the right targets again?

We've missed out on 3 top targets which highligts the need for CL footy and the right people in the right positions at the club.
Baldini has done a fantastic job for Spurs and Levy is the best in the business. We need someone like Levy and Baldini if we're going to move forward.

Even though this transfer window sucks in terms of signing quality players it shows that the scouting system works. We're identifying the right players.
The next step is to bring someone in who can get them for us. Baldini has all the contacts in the world. We need that.

AND, I'd like the club to stop fucking around in the media about our interest and that we are CONFIDENT of signing this and this player.
Its just a waste of time and makes us look like cunts. Do our business behind closed doors.

I dont think you can associate the tory party with the Nazi party mate. I'd like to, but I think they are very different examples.I suppose you are right though. But it is a film yes.

The Eternal Jew is the first film that not only gives a full picture of Jewry, but provides a broad treatment of the life and effects of this parasitic race using genuine material taken from real life. It also shows why healthy peoples in every age have responded to the Jews with disgust and loathing, often enough expressing their feelings though deeds.
Just like rats, the Jews 2000 years ago moved from the Middle East to Egypt, at that time a flourishing land. Even then they had all the criminal traits they display today, even then they were the enemies of hard-working, creative peoples. In large hordes they migrated from there to the “Promised Land,” flooded the entire Mediterranean region, broke into Spain, France, and Southern Germany, then followed the German colonists as they moved into the countries of the East. Along they way they remained eternal parasites, haggling and cheating. Poland above all became the enormous reservoir from which Jewry sent its agents to every leading nation of Europe and the world.
The self-portrait Jewry offered the world was disgusting from the beginning. All that is overshadowed by the powerful examples in this new and most valuable film, The Eternal Jew. This film with its persuasive power must be shown everywhere where anti-Semitism is still questioned. No one will fail to shudder at the sneaking servility and dirty bartering of the Jews when they start out, at the perfidy, insidiousness and vulgarity of their methods, at the brutality and all-devouring hatred they exhibit when they reach their goal and control finance.
The most revolting scenes show Jewish slaughtering methods. These customs, which cast a particularly vivid spotlight on the so-called Jewish religion, are so terrible that it is hard to watch the film as the grinning Jewish butchers carry out their work. It is illuminating to see how stubbornly Jewry holds to its method of slaughter and with which casuistry it defends it against the horror of the civilized world. Rarely will people feel more horror than which watching the desperate and horrible death struggle of the slaughtered animals. Long before the seizure of power, the NSDAP fought against Jewish slaughter. National Socialist representatives in parliament repeatedly introduced legislation to abolish this form of animal torture through a ban on Jewish slaughter. Such proposals were always rejected, since the entire Jewish and Jewish-influenced press ran long articles against them and the so-called German parties refused to support National Socialism in its battle against this evil.
Not only in this regard, but in other areas too we are reminded with a shudder of what once was reality in Germany: the power of the Jews in the economy, finance, culture, theater, film, publishing, press, radio, education and politics. All these Jewish leaders of the Weimar era had their home or their origin in the filthy ghettos of the East.
One has a deep sense of salvation after seeing this film. We have broken their power over us. We are the initiators of the fight against world Jewry, which now directs its hate, its brutal greed and destructive will toward us. We must win this battle for ourselves, for Europe, for the world. This film will be a valuable tool in that struggle.

Kinda happy we didn't get him, and that another team are the ones overpaying for players for once.

Of course I'd like some exciting 20-30m player, but I don't want another Carroll/Downing on our hands, so would prefer to stay as is until we get someone reasonably priced.

This. There are always other talented players. and it'd so sweet to get a player that could do what Willian does at half the price. That said, I'll still squeal like a little girl should Willian inexplicably sign for us now.
