I wish I was doing something other than working, then I'd just ignore everything until tomorrow morning, when we'll know exactly whats going to happen.

Or not, depends who you believe. The rags are all over it but AVB has claimed they didnt bid for him so at this point its difficult to tell if the Spurs link is genuine or just a media fabrication

Because they do it to suit their own warped agenda. I said it the other day, I'll say it again, can anyone explain why we're looking to spend £30m on a player, who's record aint that good, and plays in a position and style we don't need to improve?

Oh and why are those courting this signing getting so worked up? Is he good on FIFA or something?

Yea I didn't really think of it that way, it is a big risk. But I've been of the belief that Bale and probably Tottenham have known about this move for a long time and they're already at a stage where Madrid have made a fair offer and they're just trying to milk a bit more out of it.

There have been mentions about off the field problems for Munian recently but I've no idea what thats about. When he first broke through for Bilbao he looked amazing.

I think its more to do with the fact that we need better players to compete or we will keep finishing 7th.
Some whacky ideology like that.
Crazy i know.

I'm board with the better players bit. But this seems like we're spending money to show "intent". The trouble is the last time we did that, the only intent we showed was how to spunk money on people who won't fit.

Happy to be proved wrong IF he signs but the people who's opinions I generally trust aren't sold on this guy.

I know what you mean. The issue is that NOONE on here has watched Ukraine or Russian league football. SO its all guesswork mate.

I cant see us signing anyone if this is the case.
We dithered for weeks with all of our 'big' targets. We dont really have time to do that again now.
I think we are probably done if this is concrete.
