arsenal are still probably a better team than us . we've had 3 "big" targets , they've all turned us down . And if this is our best it's not good enough .

So again, what do you suggest we do? Sign someone for the sake of it? So the same posters can moan months down the line. We've added a few shrewd buys already, which has unsurprisingly been overlooked because they didn't cost megabucks. We don't even necessarily need someone in his position, not for that money.

They've both played one game each.
Aspas adds depth to attacking options.
Mignolet's been bought to replace arguably the best keeper in our history, who was past his prime. It'll take a year to say if he's good enough.
As things stand, the first team is more or less where it was. If Mignolet and Toure are not good enough, it'd have regressed.
Doubt the addition of Aspas (who seems to be good) will offset that much.
