Henderson is being a bit of jobber for us so far but he's a good player. He isn't expressing himself in any way for us and he's guilty of playing it safe everytime. Someone shake him and tell him to try impact the game. He's got great energy, nice movement and nice first touch. As I said elsewhere he's the football equivalent of painting by numbers so far.

Look mate, I didnt say I wanted to sell him but if the stories about him wanting to leave were true then fuck him. Thebest thing would have been to keep him obvs, as it would have given us even moreoptions. That said, he looked out of sorts through pre season and the first few games and was clearly not his usual self. Since we dont know the whole story its a bit difficult to pick sides, but if he wanted to go then Im fine with it. If he didnt then its a bit shite.

You know guys - I did not vote on this issue because its too early to damn one of our new signings. I will be honest with you all - and say that it took at least 8-10 games before I was taken in by Alonso and what he could bring to our team, so there is no way I am going to pass judgement on a young player who like the other English Signing all look a little nervious settling into a big club like ours. Give the guy a chance, and don't judge any of the new signings until they play with SG in the team. Perhaps he will inspire them to play better and come out of a shell you just don't know at this stage. Its still early days everyone - and I still hope and think we will get a top 4 position.
Meireles at the moment obviously.

I don't think anyone was happy with Meireles leaving but he is gone and there is no point crying over spilt milk.
There is, as is often the way, a great deal of revisionism going on here.
Before the start of the season few if anybody had him in their strongest starting line up.
Now everyone is queuing up to say his departure is an absolute disaster and the sole reason why we have lost the last two games
